  1. Set of front seats from a 93 sc300. Grey, decent condition. Can send photos. Give me an offer.
  2. I am getting ready to do the swap, and was trying gather as much info as possible. As I was reading a thread on another site, it was mentioned that 1JZ from supra and the soarer is different. http://www.clublexus.com/forums/performanc...jz-route-3.html Post #36 I was having a hard-time to reply on the other site, so I am hoping to find answers here. This will be my very first engine swap, so any information is appreciated.
  3. Apologize if this has been covered before. I searched and couldn't finding any answer. I have been trying to find replacement front seats because I am simply too tall for the stock seat. I would like to get the MKIV supra seats to keep the semi-stock look, but it is just too darn to find. I am wondering if the MKIII seats will fit in our SC300? Will that also give me the few inches drops?
  4. I got 2 sets of wheels from my Lexus SC300. -The first sets is the OEM stock alloy rims with 90% new Bridgestone Potenza RE950 tires. Previous owner told me that he bought them just a summer ago. Good thread left. Comes with the Lexus center caps and nuts. -The second sets is Bridgestone Blizzak WS50 snow tires on steel wheels. Two out of the four tires are brand-new, the other two still OK. They are in storage now, so email me for photos if interested. Both sets of tire are of the same size. So, you can either combine them to make a nice winter setup, or use them as it. I am selling them because I need room in the storage. Looking for $300/bo
  5. Fellows, I have been on this board for a while, but I guess I never properly introduced myself. I am from Woburn, MA. I bought my 93 SC300 (130k+, Black, 5speed) about 5mths ago for $2000 Everything works at the time of purchase. The only thing I need to take care now is the window regulator. I used to own an 04 STI, but then the kid came, so I traded my precious STI for a CRV...yea...it still hurt :cries: ! I then talked my wife into buying a 07 WRX wagon as my daily drive. It's not bad, but it's no STI. Anyway, long story short. The SC is going to be my project/track car. The car currently is all stock with a set of used 19's. The front (245/45/19) rubs the front inner fender when turn hard, so I guess I will replace the front with some lower profile tires. Next on the list, either SupraTT/LS400 brake upgrade, cause you all know how the stock brake perform. Then, 1JZGTE swap!
  6. Thanks. I actually found out that the NA front brake only has 2 pistons vs. 4 pistons in the TT caliper.
  7. Is there a different between a MKIV NA and TT front brake? A guy is trying to sell me a set of that. Couldn't find much info on web. Thanks
  8. I will have access to a set of EVO 8 Brembo caliper soon, and I am just wondering if anyone know the hole-to-hole distance of the mounting hole on the car (93 SC300). The Brembo has 6 1/4" front, and 5 1/2" rear. It would be cool if somehow it can bolt-on directly.
  9. Fellows, I have recently replace my trunk lift supports. It was almost easy. No need for heat or anything, just a little muscle. Anyway, after replacing both lifts I noticed that I can't open my trunk with my key anymore!! At first I though I might have got a much stronger lifts that it jam up the lock. But that's not the case because I can still open the trunk with the button inside the car. Anybody have ideas what I should check. :(
  10. Fellows, I have been searching for a 1jz engine for a while and these people in NJ said that they have what I wanted. www.jdmenginesinc.com Have anybody dealt with them before? What is a reasonable price for a 1jzgte with 5 speed transmission (harness, ECU and all)? What other stuff SHOULD comes with the swap? Any suggestions and information are appreciated.
  11. Thanks for the link grnsc40095. I actually came across this yesterday. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...hlink:middle:us I will see if I can have my Japanese friend track down one a cheaper one for me.
  12. Fellows, The steeling wheel on my new 93 SC300 feels a bit too skinny for me. I am used to the thicker wheel like the one in my STI or WRX. What is my option as far as replacing the steering wheel? The thing is that I wanted to keep the stock look. Any helps are appreciated.
  13. Fellows, I just picked up my 93 SC300 last week with the plan to do a 1JZ swap. I have been looking for a soarer front clip thinking that I might got more useful parts out of it for the $$. Not much success there! So, I contacted my friend in Japan and see if he can find one for me. Instead of finding me a clip, he found a whole car for me that cost.................are you guys ready.....................$600US!!! So, my question is if anyone have experience shipping/importing a vehicle from Japan? Any paper-works involved if I am not going to put it on the road? What is the shipping cost like? Thanks
