Hi All I think i have a problem with my alternator as all the dash lights have come on and won't go off and i have found a pas leak to which might be the problem is there a cure or am i looking at a new or secondhand alternator Also is it hard to change and what is the right way of doing it And this special cover that someone made did this do the job Can i carry on driving the vehicle and will it do any damage Cheers

  6. Good link but still a bit confusing or its just me being thick which bar links do you remove as the number isn't mentioned and apart from the caliper what else do i have to remove as i can't see the hub carrier dropping that low to release the strut bob

Hi All Is there anyone out there that have fully removed the rear struts off a 1991 Ls 400 and can tell me how to do it or point me to the right link i've had a look and to me it seems that you have to remove the drive shafts hich doesn't seem easy or am i looking at this wrong can anyone give me a step by step way Cheers Bob

Hi Matey I emailed a couple of those links and even spoke to them over the phone and they need to see my car to try some on as there is none that are off the shelf apart from mille miglia's which aren't that nice so i will keep on hunting i need a set that are off the shelf as i'm busy with work and haven't the time so i need to order them and sent through the post so i could put them straight on Bob

Cheers for that But i did ask alot of companys in the uk as that where i'm working at the moment and they said that there are limited amount of companys that deal in wheels for this car that are off the shelf and only do 17" where abouts did you get yours and what make of alloys are yours and model Cheers Bob

Hi All I own a 1991 LS400 and want to change my alloys but finding it hard to track some down i've been told that only certain wheels will fit due to the car having big front calipers i'm looking for either 18" or 19" wheels has anyone found any that will fit if so which makes of wheel are they i'm looking for the alloy type wheel not chrome but might consider them if they look good Cheers Bob
