It's underneath the exhaust manifold. You can actually access the oil filter from the top also.

I tried looking for it around the area where the brake booster is, but I did not see anything that looked like a fuel filter. Is it in that area behind the air filter housing? Well, if it is in fuel tank and lifetime, I guess that's good because it is one less item to worry about when doing routine maintenance. Thanks for all your input.

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located in the 2000 RX300? Has anyone actually replaced this yet and how easy is it? Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I am also planning to replace my transmission fluid in my rx300, and I was wondering if someone can help me locate the drain plug. I crawled under my vehicle last week while I was changing the oil and tried to look for a plug, but I couldn't be sure. I change the transmission fluid in my other car which is a honda and the plug is real easy to locate, but I am not too sure about it on the rx300. Also, do I need anything else other than a regular socket wrench to remove the drain plug? Thank you.
