I'm a bit confused by this thread. If your temperature gauge is reading half, and you have no other issues, that is completely normal. Why are you saying your car "overheats?" Half way on the temperature gauge is normal operating temperature.

Well, i've owned other vehicles and this is my first lex. My other cars have always stayed well below halfway point. My lex went halfway pretty fast. I was just concerned... I guess this normal for lex. thx guys.

How in the world do I get to the plugs in my '00 GS300? I just took off the big black plastic cover and got very confused.... Is there a picture or two showing how to do this?

Is it necessary to rmove all of the throttle body stuff ? Or can you get the plugs out without removing ?

Your temp senor might be on its way out. If your cooling fan still comes on and no coolant leaks then you should be fine.

Everything works fine. You think it could be the sensor? If so, how much would something like that be? thx

So, I have nothing to worry about? It pretty much goes to halfway point pretty fast and just sits there. As long as you guys say it's ok.

My lights for the rear doors don't work. It'll work for a second, but that's it. Is there anything I can do or check?

It doesn't overheat too much, but it seems to go to the half way point. What could it be?
