  1. I have the same problem with my 2010 RX350. Doesn't recognize "pause" or "wait". Dealer says it is a known issue that Lexus is working on but I have been hearing that malarkey for 3 months.
  2. System allows you to program "pause" and "wait" commands when entering speed dial or contact phone numbers (e.g. for accessing voicemail) but the system does not recognize the commands or send them which renders it useless for accessing voicemail. The dealer says "this is a known issue and Lexus is working on it". Been hearing the same excuse for 3 months. Has anyone had a different experience?
  3. Why not just call Enform? They are great and will download right to your Nav while you are driving. Otherwise, you will probably have to pull over and stop to do it yourself.
  4. G-Man is right. My dealer wanted $1,625 for the warranty and his source quoted me $1,220 for the same identical Lexus Platinum warranty. It is sold through a Lexus dealer.
  5. OK FOLKS HERE IS THE ANSWER - AND YOU'RE NOT GOING TO LIKE IT. I went to the dealer yesterday and saw their "bluetooth expert".. He says this is a known issue and they are hoping to get a software fix from Lexus. There is no workaround at this point. Makes the bluetooth useless for calling in to voicemail, although you still can input the wait or pause and the following numbers from your phone.
  6. I have an appointment at the dealer next week. I'll post a solution if they come up with one.
  7. Yep, same problem with an iPhone. Makes it impossible to call in to voice mail systems when car is rolling.
  8. I have a 2010 RX and use a Verizon Droid. I can't get the system to recognize the "pause" and "wait" characters when dialing out. It just ignores them. Anyone else having this problem?
  9. I had a similar experience but had to do it through Lexus who then made the arrangements with the dealer
  10. I did buy it and install it. Piece of cake once you find the darn thing. See my post above and RXlover's for instructions.
  11. Found it. Thanks. See above reply BY RXlover, it is correct. Once you slide the tab, it exposes an eject button. Simply puch the button and the DVD pops out. NOTE IGNITION MUST BE IN THE ON POSITION SO THE SYSTEM IS TURNED ON TO EJECT THE DVD.
  12. I would like to buy and install the 03 upgrade. Where is the unit located and how difficult is it to swap the DVD? Thanks
