  1. I recently got into a minor accident when a drunk driver cut me off on the freeway, consequently causing me to swerve out of the way and hitting the center divider. My front left tire is slightly bent to the right (and my rear left is also, slightly pushed in from the bottom--not my main concern at the moment). The car is still drivable, though I know that it is not recommended nor it is safe. According to the mechanic I took the car to, the knuckle is bent, therefore needs to be replaced (with the ball joint and the bearing), as well as the upper control arm has to be replaced. I know a person that works on cars, is it safe to have said parts be reformed back to shape by i.e., hammer to be bent back to shape given the minimal damage the parts sustained? If not, would anyone be kind to instruct or assist me as to how to replace these parts? Any idea on the price of the parts? Thank you in advance for the help
