  1. NIIIIIIIIIIICE! Do they uses a bell curve on emissions testing in your state or what? Thats a clean setup, whats your 1/4 mile like? Meeeeoooow!
  2. Hello ratm_66 ~ Don't buy a car you can't afford to maintain. 91 octane or it will run like $hit.
  3. Eazy turbo I just picked it up 4 weeks ago: simmer down now. What exhaust are you runnin on that turbo whip of yours?
  4. Got them installed over the weekend. Not a drastic drop, but a dramatic one none the less. Looks gooooood baby. Has anyone noticed any camber issues/tire wear with this install?
  5. Anyone on the LOC from arizona? Tricked out lex owners are so far and few between It's worth a shot.
  6. Hey Everyone ~ new to the LOC, just picked up a gs300 last month. I am a mortgage broker in arizona/colorado.
  7. Got my new sub installed and amped out over the weekend. HHHUUUUUUGGGEEE improvement. To remove pop the front clips on the grill straight up Then pull toward and up on the grill. this will either unclip the grill from the pop rivets or pop the rivets out of the rear deck. Their are 6 pop rivets securing the grill down. 4 corners and 2 at halfway points. Clip off the speaker wire then unscrew the dinky pioneers 4 screws. The hole will fit a standard 10" sub but requires some modification to either your speaker or the plastic surround it sets in. The pioneer speaker basket is not exactly round. It is infact short about a 1/4 inch of being perfectly round on 2 sides. Either trim your speakers basket 1/4" with a cut off wheel or grind down the surround and re-seal the hole with some fiberglass. You need an amp, period. Without proper power it sounds dinky off the stock deck and is not worth the time and effort. Amp it with a good 400 watts and BOOOOOOOOM! THats what I'm talkin about, some good in car bass!
  8. Thanx acthegiant ~ I agree that free air usually sounds like crap however I to have to keep my trunk space. Did you make your encloser out of wood? I got my sub in over the weekend. Had to use a cut off wheel to flatten out the basket to make it fit. The stock woofer flattens out to the front. Don't know how it sounds yet cause my time was limited and will be putting the amp to it this weekend. The 96 gs300 subwoofer grill has 6 mounts all of which are pop rivets and have to be pulled straight up. Talk about overkill. Being an arizona car naturally the heat has got to it over the years and the back rivets cracked. No biggie, gotta love that super glue. What did you make your encloser out of?
  9. Has anyone actually done this? I am swapping out the sub this weekend and as of yet can't seem to get the grill cover off the rear deck without breaking it. Got the front two clips but the rear is fastened down some how and I can't get a vantage point on it. Can anyone help me on how to get this sub out?
  10. I am just short of breaking the grill off my rear deck to get to the dinky pioneer sub. I have the front two clips off but the rear of the grill is stuck. I searched for a how to no avail. Does anyone have experience removing the pioneer 10" sub? 96 gs300.
  11. Reeeeeeow...... Is right, I would have to cut that picture off at the waist to before I posted it too. And the del sol front end is sick!!!!
  12. Not that I am aware of. When I went in for service at the dealership they didn't have anything. Can anyone in the states confirm this?
  13. Hello Everyone ~ I am new to the lexus owners club. I recentley bought a 96 gs300 and love it. Has anyone fabricated a billet grill for the earlier year g's? I see the mbenz grills and trd's for the mk2's but nothing but a serious lack of components for the 93-97. Anything not stock would look tight, any ideas?
