Rear Lights Out But Break Lights Ork

Brand bew bulbs.I need to get my trunk latch replaced. Could this have anything to do with the wiring in the back. -
My rear tail lights recently went out. My break lights work fine. I have a 1999 RX300. I replaced the fuse hoping it was something easy. Any suggestions of what might be wrong. Thanks
