  1. :) Actually I've had this GS300 since 1998. I've wondered about it for years but finally decided to ask the question. So I guess it's normal that there's barely a clicking relay sound? OK by me as long as it's supposed to be that way. Thanks
  2. I just noticed today that when I have the turn signal on either left or right, the sound is very soft, almost can't hear it. Is the turn signal supposed to be this soft? If it weren't for the green indicator lights flashing, I wouldn't know the turn signal was on.
  3. OK, how about, you're car is almost 16 years old, and that's like 200 human years old. Time for a new one buddy.
  4. What happened? There were about 10 posts in this thread including a few pictures of how I removed the rear rotor and changed a stud on hub. Am I crazy or did a bunch of posts get deleted?

  6. As you can see from the picture, one of the studs snapped off and I am trying to replace it. Not to mention the rotor needs to be surfaced. After taking the caliper off the rear, I can't pull the rotor off. Can someone tell me if I need to remove the nut "A" off in order to slide the rotor off? And anyone know the size of bolt "B" I assume used to help unstick a stuck rotor to the hub?
  7. I just did a one day subscription on https://techinfo.toyota.com/ I want to download the service manual for 1998 GS300 so I can start restoring one. There are 500 pdf files to download. Anyone know if they can all be downloaded at once or do I have to do each of the 500 one at a time.
  8. I've been looking for but can't find any discount codes for Sewell or even the Club Lexus Vendor Forum. Where is it?
  9. Put it this way, would anyone buy a 911 with 140,000 miles on it?
  10. Awesome post Blake. I'm going to restore my 1998 GS300 and I'll need all the discount parts I can get. As long as they are OEM of course. Thanks for the website's, exactly what I was looking for.
  11. Thanks. Sewell looks real good. Irontoad has been down all night. When you click on "Lexus Shopping Center" this is all I get - Runtime error in lib/db.mvc @ [00000048:00000046]: lib/db.mv: Line 1827: MvLOCKFILE: Error creating lockfile 'Merchant2/00000004/storekey.dbf': Disk quota exceeded I'll try again in the morning. As long as they have the real factory OEM parts, I'm happy. Are there any online shops closer Los Angeles?
  12. (edit- Just noticed I spelled ONLINE wrong on title. ) Hi! Newbie here, but I'm a long time Lexus owner. (91 LS400, 94 LS400, 98 LS400, 98 GS300, 01 LS430, soon to be 08 LS460) However been servicing at dealer for all these years. My 98 GS300 has got broken door actuators, worn down brake pads, missing rubber pieces underneath car, etc. I've been searching for a discount Lexus OEM parts online shop. I've come up with nothing. (just a bunch of racing pads aftermarket) Can anyone point me the right direction to an online shop that sells genuine Lexus oem parts for maintainance like filters, washers, brake pads, wiper blades, hoses, belts, etc Thanks!
