I need some Help.........I just got my '92 LS 400 this year, and I'm a novice at working on them. Recently, the steering column started squeaking, especially when cold. Now just today, the steering became very tight, as if there was very little power steering available. during lunch, i'm going to check out the fluid level. But what else should i check ? what are common failure items ? any help would be appreciated ! thanks !!!!

I'm looking to spend $120 or less per tire -- nothing fancy -- 205/65/r15 current tire size

I just bought a '92 LS 400 about 3 months ago. The front tires are slightly worn and it started slipping in the rain. Any suggestions on which brand tire have proven reliability? I live in Maryland -- a little snow, but mostly rain. thanks

Hey guys, the remote access on the key to my '91 LS does not operate. Is there a good source to repair or replace these keys? It has a new battery, and everything else looks functional. Any good source to buy new keys ? thanks.

I'm interested in finding out how i change out a '92 Lexus phone. can you assist?

the car i bought has a '92 car phone that works perfectly. when i call Verizon to activate the phone, they tell me that they don't start new accounts by activating analog phones. They tell me that the phone cannot be activated by them Has anyone faced this challenge to get a working car phone ???? i love the unit.. the speakers and microphone work perfectly. i actually talked to the Verizon Customer Service, *611. I couldn't believe how well it worked. thanks in advance. geoff

How much did it cost for the part? i think mine is starting to go in the '92 LS400.

my father-in-law has a '99 ES300 -- the steering wheel started squeaking about a year ago. any idea what the cause or solution ? steering wheel functions perfectly other than squeak. the squeaking noise sounds like it is happening in the steering column. :) thanks, geoff

Is it costly to get repairs done on the added air suspension ? I just purchased a '92 LS 400, and the back end drops down after the car is turned off. You can hear the air leaking after the car is turned off. Admittedly, I am a novice at any kind of repair like this. Is this suspension complicated enough, where i should only consider going to a Lexus dealership to have repairs made, Or can this be looked at by other mechanics ? Open to any suggestions..... And by the way, it is riding fine right now. It just looks bad when the back end sits very low when it is turned off. thanks, geoff

I just purchased a 1992 LS 400. I can't find anyone who sells a fog lamp bulb except directly from Lexus. it is supposed to be an H3 bulb, but it has special connectors that isn't like any other aftermarket bulb. where can you find a fog lamp bulb, 55w, other than at Lexus ? thanks, geoff
