  1. The problem that I'm having is sort of complicated to explain, but I'm going to try my best and hopefully someone can help. Whenever I turn my a/c on, on a hot day (90F+)the antifreeze fills the overflow container and then leaks out onto the road and the air isn't as cold. On a moderate day the a/c works fine and there are no apparent problems. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Lately I've been experiencing some problems with my es, when it's night time there appears to be some type of residue on the windshield which looks like fog but it's something that has to be wiped off.(?) My A/C works when it wants to, most times after I drive for awhile it will kick in then turn off after a 30minute ride.(?) Lastly my passenger door won't open from the outside but it will open from the inside.(?) If anybody could help me with these issues I would appreciate it! :)

  3. As far as the key fob, have you tried replacing the battery inside the key? If you do not know how long the battery has been in there, it would be a good idea to start with replacing the battery. I would recomend purchasing a new battery at Radio Shack.

    As far as noise, there is a fex joint in the exhaust pipe, it is located underneath the engine. It is possible there is a hole in the flex joint. If you find a leak, I would recomend checking the upper engine torque mount (the short bar, by the passenger side strut). If this mount is bad, the engine will rock back and forth more than it should. This will put additional strain on the exhaust flex joint.

    As soon as I got the car and noticed the key fob didnt work I went to radio shack and replaced the battery and still nothing worked. And as for the noise, thank you, I'll check it out tomorrow.

  4. I'm sorry I was kind of in a rush earlier, if I were to answer my own questions I would be confused as well. The Deep sound is all the time from when I start the car until I turn it off. It doesn't sound as if something is wrong, but it sounds like it can be fixed.

    Key Fob- Yes by the unlocking/locking 10 times i'm trying to reprogram it but the button still doesnt work. The alarm does but the button on the key doesnt.

    Small Grill- I figured thats what it was but others have told me that it was something else, but thats what I figured it was all along.

  5. How would I go about making my 94 es more quiet? It has a deep sound that makes it seem like a cheap old bucket. Also, I feel dumb asking this question, but the the right of the steering wheel close to were ones knee would be there is a small vent like thing, what is it? One more thing how exactly do you know if something is wrong with the unlock/lock function on the key? When I unlock and lock the doors with the button on the inside ten times the car beeps once, then a pause, and then twice. Does any one know what the problem may be? TIA

  6. actually the procedure is made to resync your key with the alarm brain

    not add a new one

    as from the manual

    " open the drivers side door, others closed

    using the door lock control switch

    perform " lock , unlock " operation 10 times within 30 seconds

    keep each state for about 1 second

    less than 2 seconds after performing the above

    continue to press the transmitter switch for 10 seconds

    does nothing

    if it locks 2 time the codes do not match the rom and ecu

    3 times transmitter fault

    I know this thread is from years ago but im just havin this problem. After i did the steps the car beeped once then after a short pause it beeped again i held the button on the key but it didnt do any thing. Am I doing this right or what can someone help please

  7. My friend has a 93 camry and i figured since they are similar someone might be able to help me help her. The only time the tail light works is if you are using the brakes, theres only two parts on the far ends that will light up while the lights are on. Thanks for any help

    how much would a good conversion kit cost?

    Anywhere from 120-200$ I get my kits from a local guy for $120 and so far they work great, and look great. I'd go with 6000K color temp at most dont go above 6000K orelse it looks ricey. They are also pretty simple to instal, just make sure you get the right bulb type for you car.

    If you know your bulb type you can look on ebay for a set or just do a simple google search and start looking around.

    Arent they laws against them in certain states?

  9. Sit in the driver's seat and lock all the doors.

    Unlock and open the driver's door.

    Insert the key into the ignition and remove it (don't turn it...just remove it).

    Using the MANUAL lock switch on the driver's door, lock and unlock the door 5 times.

    Close the door.

    Open the door.

    Lock and unlock the driver's door 5 times (I'm almost certain you use the MANUAL lock switch again, but if this sequence fails to work, try again with the power switch).

    Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position.

    Remove the key.

    The driver's door will now lock and unlock itself one time.

    Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for at least 1 second.

    Close the driver's door.

    Open the driver's door.

    Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob for at least one second.

    Close the driver's door.

    Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob. The door will lock.

    Press and hold the "LOCK" button on the key fob again. The door will unlock.

    You should be all set.

    hey will this work on a 94 ES300 I found a fob on ebay. thanks.

    I have a 94 as well and my key(one button) doesnt work will this reset it??
