your loosing torque cause you now dont have much back pressure from the exhuast.. reigns7703 has the right idea.. get srt's intake/ecu set up.. you will notice a BIG difference.. since your already setup to expell more air, its now time to take in more air. B)

well the SRT intake/ecu upgrade wont hurt anything at all. suspension all depends on how far you go.. if you go for the Tein edfc and trd sways and maybe tom's brace for the back. your not gonna hurt anything running that type of set up..

so than the is the system with the nav better than stock, because it has the bass mid and trebble adjustments?

if you hear a click, sounds to u-joints to me..

i have read in some posts here that the stock system doesnt have bass mid and treble adjustments, and the nakim. does.. my 98 gs400 with navigation has the bass mid and treble adjustments in the audio area on the nav screen.. but there isnt a nakim. logo on the front of the unit.. sooo. is it a nakim. or stock????

its a tough choice.. i mean my the phone is already mounted in the center console, plus it has the controls on the steering wheel for it; plus it has this little phone pad thing next to the heated seat switches.. i know that it runs throught the stereo, thats why i am trying to find a way to use the excisting wiring that goes to the speakers. it would be nice to use the steering wheel controls too. does anyone know how to unlock the phones? when i turn it on it just says locked.

does anyone have the intagrated phone ?? my 98 gs400 has it, it has never been activated or used.. i am wondering if i can get my verizon cell # linked to it?? anyone know any info about these phones.. i know it has some service codes that have to be entered so it can be used..

so than the best thing for me would be to just add an amp and sub, and maybe replace some of the factory speakers with aftermarket?

my 98 gs400 only has the factory lexus stereo.. no Nakamichi or levinson.. is it worth trying to find the Nakamichi? i do have nav.. or should i just add an eq and some good subs and an amp.

Hi all.. i am picking up my blue 98 gs400 this week.. cant wait.. i had seen the post about the spring get together this weekend in NJ . i live in nj and its really close to me.. cant wait.. so my 1st question is.. is Swift's intake the best one to get???
