  3. Hahhahaee.. I dont read !Removed! either, :D But damn mirrors doesnt look bad heh? But so far i bought my LX450 stuff from Japan , they speak & understand english not bad thou.. I know peoples over there do some crazy Sh* Off Roads Too..deep Mud n stuff.. The only one thing they got more stuff available for LC compare to US. LC80 pics & stuff- http://landcruiser80.com/custom/panel/panel.shtml http://4wdsuv.auto-g.jp/cat/3/index.html
  4. Dear LC & LX enthusiasts: Im thinking to get this mirrors from overseas , but since we are here in the US (Left hand drive) do you guys think the mirrors will exact fits? :( http://landcruiser80.com/custom/Autbarn/autbahn.shtml
  5. I agree with DougJohn~ If you're going to take it off-road, don't get the Cayenne. If you're keeping it on pavement, get the Cayenne -- and the extended warranty. My Brother own Cayenne-S , I drove it , Im impress very quick acceleration, also quick response on the turns. The Turbo Cayenne even faster but i dont need to go fast on SUV , plus with $100K its not worth it. I think they been tested all the SUV out there , the VW Touraqe and the Cayenne will not be able to do Off-Roads. I think was on CBS Channel Shame On you , correct me if im wrong.
  6. Yes i did, dont need to be panic --> one word replace ur EGR valve cap & get new one from toyota dealers ~after that :whistles: :) And one thing to remember ! When you talk boud the internal engine parts not to the lady, allright? But when the time u need to pay what u ordered then u can go to the ladies... :D
  7. I really dont know much boud how good Dunlop is, but from what ive known Dunlop are quieter compare to Michelin.

  9. Dear LX Enthusiast: Im having problem with my LX leather seat, after now almost going to 8 years all the beige/ tan leather seems filthy-dirty (dark spot ) Now does anyone of you know that whats the right chemicals to bring up to new? or at least to give new looks? PS: Any good Brand out there that you guys recommended for tan leather seats?
  10. Remember behind the 7"x7" climate control u must to loosen/disconnect all the plug such as rear defog switch , etc... All of them comes in bulb and some of them very tiny when you order those bulbs from dealer none of them is stock gotta have special order. And most of the time people work for the the parts @ dealer , they're (dumb) dont know what doing. U gotta be specify to tell them them , otherwise u dont want endup order wrong bulbs. GoodLuck
  11. Actually it wasnt really hard at all, most of tools you need to use is philip screwdriver , also the climate control you just have to take the center piece off and the disconnect the whole wiring socket. Easy & Simple things to do but need to spend time.
  12. Thanks DougJohn: When i red the whole links you attached, it seems not easy to reflush and also air may be trapped in the system.. just lil complicated, But thanks the whole information it very helpful and add to my knowledge. Anyways i took it to Toyota dealers had them reflush and refill with the new fluids called M.O.C also dealers had special machine to suck the whole power steering fluid out so far until now - its okay. Toyota dealers charged for $27 for the fluids also $72- labor , plus $3 tax = 102.00 I know damn , ripped off but what the hell.. done it in 1hr n 45 mins. About the Surf-Turf Pismo Beach sounds interesting, i need to see my schedule but i already check the trip from LA is about 188 miles ( one way ) If nothin come up with i may go there... with few my LC80 buddies... ;) Well..
  13. Does anyone know how to reflush LX450 power steering fluids? Do u guys know where the power steering fluids drain plug? Also how many bottle requires to refill back? Do u have recommendation on power steering reflush/refill or maybe any good recommendation on that? Thanks
  14. Have you do balance n alignment on the truck? Coz just happen to me recently, everytime i apply on the brake vibrates alots. Hope the balance will solve ur problem.

  17. By the way Alanc, I try to look and locate the the fuse but i cant find 'em... i know theres only 2 fuses box , the one in the driver side right underkneath and one the other right next to the battery. Thanks for advise ill double check all the fuses again.. Hopefully i be able to solve the damn problem. Regards,
  18. Dear LX450 owners: Just happened recently that i cant use my remote/ press button ~ to unlock my rear hatch. Also i did manually by unlock from the inside button ~> next to power window button and still wont open. Anyone have this kinda problem before? Now everytime when i need to open rear hatch i need to use the key by unlocking n locking from the back~ right on top the L emblem. Can anyone help to solve my problem? Coz im sick n tired using the key to open rear hatch ~ just missed back old days~ quick n easy way by pressing the remote button. Kinda thanks and appreciate for all participate & help
  19. Im not sure about affecting the speedometer by having bigger n wider tires. But im pretty sure it is. Because right now i have 23 x 10.5 with 305/35/23 on my 450 and while my 470 runnin 24 x 11 with 305/30/24 usin Pirelli Asimmetrico P-Zero. I used to have "20 rims on my450 and i noticed that since i got the "23 seems when i drive the car little heavier~(Disadvantage) While the advantage to have big rims and wider tires is by having bigger rims and less rubber means less friction and also u can feel the car more rigid to the ground affect the car handling, so far here in so cal freeway after i dropped the LX "4 inch to the ground i can go for 85mph on the 60 degree curve and the LX just stayed on the ground. But my opinion changin bigger rims and wider tires wont feel much good as compare to the stock factory, ull lose the comfyness ,fuel economy unless if u tired of the look and want to look different then i have no word for it.
  20. If u are serious about gettin LX450 /LX470 Front,Corner & Rear Tailights i can get them thru overseas. Theres 2 different clear lens: Regular clear clens and Crystal clear clens Most of crystal lens found on newer cars. I was going to sell & try to posted on the EBAY but since the LC/LX entusiasts not much compare other cars , so i decided not to.. Bcoz cost of purchasing/wire transfer and custom clearance sometimes very hard and costly. Like i have LX450 all i got around is Crystal Clear Lens (like the new RX330 tailight im pretty sure im the only one LX450 which has clear lights all total thru the back. But by having clear lens all around your car is illegal. The only thing that u can trick the COPS is change the dark red bulbs for the rear so from far away looks like not all clear white. I wish i can show and post some sample LX450 & LX470 clear crystal lens ~ ( Corner, Front & tailights) but since the Lexusownersclub.com administration wont allowed me to post the pics so i cant. Regards, Pro LX450 & LX470
  21. Thanks Guys for the info n web link.. reason i need additional hanger because im going to have custom made exhaust (Dual muffler like on the Vette , Nissan 300ZX Left side and Right side.. I need the hanger for the left side .

Doesnt matter whether it from junkyard or anything else.. Thanks for the info or website... Need for "96-97 LX450 or TLC "99-04 LX470 or TLC Regards,
  23. Dear all 450 owner: Im not tryin to be wise guy here, but i owned "97 lx 450 for 7 years since the car brand new out of the lexus dealer. Now had 174.996 mileage to be exact. Since the car brand new i always have Mobil 1 Fully-Synthetic 10W-30 Green cap~ about 7 and 3/4 Quarts with oil filter , because i have lil high mileage now i always had mixed with 5 3/4->10W-30 & 2Quarts->15W-50 red cap. Until now people are so suprised when i leave the car on the idle or with the ac on the motor so quiet just almost sounds like 5K mile on it. But of courz i do oil change regularly 3000-3500Miles the top not more than that. Also Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic been tested in winter time and race lap.. no doubt bout it. YESSS!!!! MOBIL 1 10W-30 Fully Synthetic -> green cap about $4 buks per quart. PS: Monarch i have plan to keep my 450 till the last, my goal is to get the 888.888 mileage on it ..hhhheuheuee... hopefully by that time this LexOwnersclub.com still exist and ill prove it.. with the condition my car right now.. theres no problem folks. :D
  24. Thanks Dougjohn, in this case problem solved just for future reference for whoever may need to replace Brake Master Cylinder on the 96-97 LX450 you need 2 bottles of Toyota Brake fluid. 1 bottle to refill into the empty new reservoir and 1 more bottle you need to flush/bleeds all the air bubbles from the 4 brake line. Now the car back like brand new even little less than quarter apply on the brake the car 100% stop completely. Very Happy :) Future mods~ All Stainless brake lines total of 7pcs 2pc for the Front~ Stainless steel brake line 2ps for the Rear~ Stainless steel brake line 2pc for the front ABS center line 1pc for the rear ABS center line Cost of $600.00 buks just the stainless steel brake lines from overseas. Will update once install in the 450. :)
  25. "97 LX450, That also my main concerned when I replaced Spring , Adjustable Shock and Heavy Duty Bushing thou in order to remove Both of rear spring may be not simple/ easy job to do.By pushing the rear axle way down & pull both rear spring out was OKAY. True about center ABS brake line becoz when the rear axle down the only thing that holding the axle down is ONLY 1 pc of brake line.To prevent excessive stress you may need 2 people doing this. 1 person insert new spring in and the other holding the rear axle so wont drop/down too much and keep on eye on the brake line. Well what else can i say? YES its hard to do, but also simple as the way it is. One word YES do it! Just make sure you may need 2 people for the rear job. I set up my LX450 differently than others, just for cruisin only :P I have 23x10.5 rims and 305/35/23 Pirelli Scorpion Zero I have lowering spring made by SHUEI ~4" inch down and 5 way adjustable shock from RANCHO RS9000 ~both not available in the US. I like the way it looks almost no gaps between all fenders & tires. Mostly lift up spring available in the US soil. Good Luck!
