  1. I have a 2006 RX 400h FWD (Front Wheel Drive). I see that it is possible to get the rear differential from an AWD for a reasonable price. What more would I need to replace to do this modification?
  2. You need to call Lexus to "boost" the drained hybrid batteries ... never know the proper procedures too but calling them is the way to go. Please keep us posted on how you revive the car :) It appeares that this was not a major problem after all. I did not do this myself, but have been told that once the small battery was properly charged, the green "Ready" light came on and the car started as normal by pushing the accelerator.
  3. Does anyone know how to obtain a European type approval for a US Lexus Hybrid? I now live in Norway and have a car I need to title and that is much easier with European type approval. I titled a US car in Spain a couple of years ago and the guy that assisted me there got an approval in Germany on basis of a copy of the US Title only. This German approval was later used to title the car in Spain.
  4. My RX400h 2006 has been parked for several months and the battery has gone flat. I have recharged the small battery in the engine compartment, all the lights come on, computer powers up etc, but the car will not start. What can possibly be wrong? Will I need to separately charge the main battery?
  5. Thanks a lot! I searched the LEXUS pages, but did not find this one.. I looked for the horsepower of the petrol engine and the electric motors on this particular car with only two el motors... Here it says 268hp (total system) for both the AWD and the FWD??
  6. Thanks a lot! I searched the LEXUS pages, but did not find this one..
  7. I need the spec for a 2006 model with front wheel drive, not AWD
  8. Can anyone assist me in obtaining full technical specifications of an RX400h 2006 model with Front Wheel Drive (FWD)?
