  1. I just got a 94 GS 300. Its got fairly High KM on it but its in great shape. Got it for 3200 CDN. The Right Headlight sits a little bit wonky as there is a bit of body damage on it, that and there is some rust, Normal wear and tear on the inside, I.e. leathers cracking a bit. Oh I got that annoyin SRS airbag light on but I really dont want to go to Lexus where there asking $124.00 per hour just for diagnostics. I go to an independant mechanic who is really great. What I plan to do? I getting a 7" alpine In dash DVD/navigation from a friend for $300, and may buy his class D amp for $150-200. Need bigger Rims on this baby. I plan till drive this car forever, and I want it to look good. SO ya. Thinking 18's as even though bigger rims prices arent too bad, the tires litterally kill you. Tinting the windows, and adding HIDs to it. Probably gonna go 6000k. Anything Higher and Ill probably be pulled over by the cops.....ahem. Definetly want to get my rust and body work done but need to save a bit for it. Has anyone heard anything about the Michellin X-Ice XI 2's? I hear there good and thinking of using them for winter. (this is my first and only car so ya.)
  2. Best Tires?.......depends really how much your willing to spend. Michelins are awsome. Other ones that are great are perreli's, yokohama's, Toyos (Some of the best on the market right now) and Hakabanuchi (I Have no idea how to spell this company, I just know that they are currently the best winter tire your money can buy and that there swiss)
  3. I have a 94 GS 300. The intermittent wipers don't work properly being as they go then get stuck, then go again, and get stuck. Also, the wipers dont retrack or go down properly when they are put into there fully lowered position, they eventually go down again but it takes a while and really irks me when it happens. j Anyways my question is this.... Is it the motor that is gone on the blades? The magnets on the motors? And how do I go about accessing them to fix it? thanks.
  4. Its definitely possible to run your car on Hydrogen. Germany is starting to convert some of there cars to hydrogen fuel cells. There even seems to be a few hydrogen fuel stations that they have up and running. From what I have heard of this technology, you put a big old tank of hydrogen in your trunk with (which might not be the brightest idea in the world.............ahem.......) lines run to your engine and so on and so forth. I don't really understand how they did it but they have done it. The only reason that We dont see this technology on a greater scale is that the oil companies are essentially blocking the R & D of making it more cost effective on a large scale. As for running a car on pure water......Wasnt there some dude that lived in the mountains or somthing that made a car that ran on pure water? I remember seeing this when I was a kid, odd thing is though was that he disappeared...............OMG its a conspiracy.......
  5. It really depends on what model you have. I have a 94 GS 300, and it has a 21.1 Gallon tank or 80 litres. My Gas light Came on and I went to the station and filled her up with 60 litres. Now I was like Um......why isnt it going to 80......But I shrugged it off and when i turned my car on, it was full. So this would mean that there is a fairly significant safety net, if you should happen to have your light turn on and are in the middle of nowhere.
  6. Hi everyone. I am new to the forums. I just bought a 94 GS 300. I know that the High beams are 9005 and the lows are 9006. My question is how do you change the fog light bulbs on them. Are the DRL also 194's? One other thing if you don't mind my asking? I have some condensation on the driver side Head light. How do I go about fixing this? Ive heard that I need to take the light out and put it in the oven and so on and so forth, or would a blow dryer work just as well? Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks a lot.
