  1. Excellent find. Migirdech - I too did not know that my mirrors were heated, until one day when my rear window was fogged up as were my mirrors, I turned on the rear defroster and I happen to look to my mirror and within seconds you could see the mirrors clearing up. So the heated mirrors function is tied to the rear defroster. So check it out, your's might still work.
  2. Has anyone ever installed an enclosure under the rear deck of a 90-94 LS400 with a port firing into the cab through the existing 8" hole? I have 2-12" Kicker Comp VR that I would like to use in this enclosure.
  3. :D I also just got a LCD repir Kit from Mikado and let me tell you it is great to finally see my temp/clock display. I replaced LCD myself, fairly easy to do with right equipment. Like migirdech said, it comes with replacement bulbs and the LCD is an exact match to the original. I would recommend getting one from Mikado. Another advantage is that if you get it from Mikado, you can get one for either the 90-92 LS or 93-94 LS. I know this because after winning the auction on Ebay, Sammy from Mikado called me to ask if I needed the LCD for a 90-92 or 93-94 model LS. Migirdech - The backlighting on mine stays on even when headlight are not on. It has always been like this even when my LCD was blacked out. It turns on as soon as you insert key on turn to ACC. Don't know if it changed for other years.
  4. Your 93 can look lower because the bottom trim on you car is wider and color painted as the cladding (bottom half of car), were as the 90-92 is painted black. I also noticed this when I parked my 1991 LS next to my friends 1994 LS and realized this difference can make the car look lower.
  5. Check your oil level, it is probably low. This happened to me also, checked the oil level and sure enough the oil level was low. Added about a half a quart, the light never came back on.
  6. Don't know of any place that sells them but a place that can repair them. Try this place out.. http://carstereohelp.com/lexus.htm
  7. Have your insurance replace it. Stick with OEM windshield.
  8. I also recommend sticking to OEM just like VMF suggests.
  9. VMF - you probably saw the first page only, look here http://www.sounddomain.com/memberpage/409848/3
  10. Sorry, it is actually here.. http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/409848
  11. As a mater of fact, a club member is doing this change to his LS. Check his website out at http://www.cureline.net/lex/review.htm or you can find more information at www.sounddomain.com under Lexus LS series.
  12. Could also be that your car is out of alignment as my car acted similarly. Alignment took care of the problem. Just make sure you take it to a shop that works on Lexus as these cars have many adjustments to get it properly aligned.
  13. Birdie - The original antenna for the LS400 is slightly to the right of the horizontal line you are talking about on the glass. That line is the antenna for the keyless entry system, which is in the glass with the defogger. Be sure that when you install the antenna on the glass you also add some clear silicone around the antenna base to prevent water from going in. Before you install the inside sending unit, look under the headliner near the back window, see if you can find the antenna cable going to the receiver. It is a black cable with threaded connector that connects to the inside sending unit. Once you located see in which direction you are going to place the inside sending unit. Meaning if the connection side goes to the right or left side vertically as I do not know how long the cable is. The inside sending unit, just place right behind the antenna base. The one in my car is to the right vertically. Hope this helps you.
