  1. For future reference, it is wire b20 on the 20 pin connector that plugs into the gage cluster. There are four plugs and this one is the second from the drivers side. If you are looking at the plug, it is the bottom right wire #20. This info was a pain in the !Removed! to come by so I hope it helps someone some day.
  2. Thanks, I'll see if I can find it. If anyone else knows what wire it is off hand, I would appreciate it.
  3. Hello, I need to find the speed signal wire that goes to the speedometer. Does anyone know how to find it? Thanks.
  4. I just ordered a set of 22x10s from www.bozealloy.com
  5. Well I decided to go ahead with the jaos. Should be here in a week or so. Got it for $230 plus shipping. I think it's going to look pretty sharp but in their pics it's hard to tell since they put all of that other gawdy looking crap on the truck with it. We will see.
  6. Well I crawled under the car today and found the answer to my question. The lx ride height sensor is very similar to the navigator's. There is one on the rear axle and it looks like there is also one sensor on each front tire as well. I only wanted to adjust the rear lower by .5" so I crawled under the rear on the car. If you look just in front of hte diff. on the drivers side you will notice a little arm bolted to the rear link. The other end of the arm is attached to what looks to me like a potentiaometer.(a sensor that read what position something is in) If you loosen the bolt connecting the little arm to the rear link you will see it can slide up and down in a factory adjustment slot. Move it up to adjust the ride height up and vice versa. I assume you can do the same thing with the front but I didn't play with that. Overall on the lowest setting my lx sits about .5" lower in the rear now. As far as I can tell there is no noticeable change in ride. I just like the way the car looks when it sits level. Hope this helps someone someday. Gary
  7. I just sold a 2001 navigator to get into my lx470. The lincoln had an air ride system that used a little sensor in the back to judge the rear ride height. You could slide that sensor up or down to adjust the rear ride height. I understand the lx has the ride height control switch but I want to lower the rear about .5" to make it level with the front. Before I crawl under there to look around does anyone know if there is a similar sensor that can be adjusted to accomplish my goal?
  8. nelson, im looking to install an aftermarket spoiler. I have seen several guys on here post pics of their 470 with aftermarket spoilers on them but they did not say where they got them from.
  9. I am going to buy a set of wheels for my lx470 and I need a little insight. I'm intrested in either a set of 22s or maybe a set of 24s. I have seen several pics of lx470s with really nice looking wheels but people seldomly give details of their set up. If you have pics of your 22 or 24 inch set up please post them with details on the tire size and so forth. Thanks in advance.
  10. Hello, I just bought an lx470. It didn't come with a rear spoiler. I have seen some pictures of spoilers but they really don't specify which company manufactures them. I have seen the one made by Jaos but the picture on their site isn't that great. Could someone please either post pics and the make of your spoiler or point me in the right direction? Thanks.
