  1. any modifications to the car? performance? stereo equipment? somethign could be physically interfearing with the clutch mechanism, like a power cable for a big stereo, or poorly located groundwire? next time it happens poke your head into the engine bay and see if tehre is anything out of place down there. 2. Hi eveyone, thought i would introduce myself. My name is Tim Quinn and I am new to the forums. I don't drive a IS 300 yet, but im looking into parting out my current car and trading in for one. I've been driving and tuning my subaru WRX for 3 years now and i just can't seem to stop wanting more and more. So my next plan is to get something a bit more luxerious and make it my own lil street monster ;) If anyone has any questions, or wants to see pics of my car, jsut ask ;) Thanks everyone, I look forward to becoming part of your crew. Cheers, Tim Quinn
  3. Well im new the the Lexus world, but I've had good experiences with Injen intakes in the past. Although not a CAI they do have a good setup with a heat shield for the filter, they also offer seperatly a heatshield for the exhaust manifold to stop your exhaust from heating up your intake pipe, seems like a pretty sweet idea to me. Check itout here injen.com/toyota its about half way down the page. Hope that helps. Cheers, Tim Quinn
