  1. Give NAPA a try they show two different ones regal and sensi drive or some thing like that.
  2. Usually the problem is belt slippage on the alternator. When you first start car after it has been idle { such as overnight} the battery takes high output from the alternator causing slippage. After a few minutes the chargeing rate decreases thus no slippage. This sounds to me to be your problem.
  3. I got a replacement mast assy. from NAPA 94 es300 but ordered for toyota and it works fine. I_got_a_mast_replacement_94_es300_at_NAPA
  4. Careful on that last suggestion. If the belt is broken all the valves are closed thus when the piston comes up you will have compression. Also a question for Zeta, why would you think the starter is the problem when he stated the engine turns over?
  5. If the position sensor was bad I don't think you would see spark at the plug. Have you checked to see if the valves are opening and closeing? Could be broken belt.
  6. I'm curious, If the battery was bad how the heck did the starter turn it over?
  7. Hi! to all I'm new to this site and I just got a 94 ES300 , 107,000 miles on it. It appears to be in fine condition and I'm curious as to what kind of gas mileage you folks get? I'm in north central Minnesota. Howie
