  1. I know it's been a while since the OP, but I just had a rack and pinion replaced at 68K on a 06 Lexus RX330. Seems like a rather high failure rate for such an expensive car (which I have owned since new). I really was not planning on spending $1700 (which is what I was quoted by the local Lexus Stealership). What’s really sad is I was thinking about trading it in and upgrading to the Lexus RX350 in the next few months. Doesn’t make much sense now as I have to recoup the $2K cost plus rethink Lexus as a brand. Maybe the Acura MDX would last longer (on non-maintenance related items). Heck, I’ve owned Hyundai’s with no issues for 100K!
  2. My wife has an 06, and I can say safely that the bluetooth will work only out of ONE speaker (the driver side). So as long as you don't mind your music in mono (yeah, right)... I am assuming you are talking about an 06 with NAV as the standard audio does not do bluetooth. Also the bluetooth in the 06 is funky, it may or may not bind with another bluetooth device. I know it works (kind of) with a Moto Razar. I would at the minimum try binding your device to an 06 before you buy it. Good luck. nc
  3. You can take the fuse out to the radio for a few minutes or disconnect the car battery (fuse is easier). It has to be a few minutes (like 10-20) otherwise it seems to remember things. You might have to do some looking around, I don't know if the radio fuse goes to the remote DVD player.
