  1. Maybe your just a suspicious person. I had never heard of the Prestigious Society before last month when I read about their Navigation/DVD Override on this forum. I have no interest in the company and paid the full asking price for their product.
  2. I just purchased and installed the Prestigious Society Navigation / Video Enhancement Module. I have a 2007 Lexus RX-350 with Navigation and Mark Levinson Premium Audio. After considerable research, I ending up having to decide between Beat-Sonic and the Prestigious Society unit. Based on the reviews, I decided to go with Prestigious Society and I'm glad I did even though it was a little more costly. This unit did exactly what it was supposed to do. It unlocked the Navigation and DVD player so now I can fully operate the Navigation System and have the DVD Player displayed on the front dash video screen while driving. Also, I have excess to the locked phone features. The installation instructions were detailed and easy to follow. I did have an issue with the wiring. So I emailed Mark at Prestigious Society. He promptly called me on the phone. He immediately identified and resolved the problem which was totally my mistake. Now I could not be happier. If you're in the market, I would certainly recommend Prestigious Society. The product and support are fantastic! Thanks Mark, you're the best!
  3. No, the transmission was not leaking. The two things people have suggested are that the trans fluid leaked out or it was suddenly put in reverse. I don't have any reason to believe either of these things happened.
  4. Racing? No, he was on a busy street going under 40mph. I don't know if this is related but a month or two prior to the trans problem I noticed the engine noise was more pronounced in the cabin, especially when accelerating. Now with the new transmission the noise is gone and the cabin is quiet again.
  5. My Lexus 2007 RX350 transmission exploded! It had just 58,058 miles on it and all of a sudden the transmission case blew apart. There were transmission parts and trans fluid all over the street. I had to spend $4000 to have a rebuilt transmission installed. This included a core charge for the case. The mechanics at the auto shop had never seen this happen before - the transmission exploding! They asked if it was suddenly put in reverse while driving, like that may be the reason. Now my son was driving it at the time but he insisted that didn't happen. He stated he heard a loud bang and then the vehicle then came to a stop. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this happening or if anyone could explain how this could happen. Thanks for your comments.
