I just purcased a 1992 LS400 with the nakamichi system in it my plan is to install my Alpine IVA-w203 alpine amp and alpine sub while leaving the rest of the speakers alone, what is the best way of doing this There is a harness made for the models with an amp but 93+ will this work for me? I read that using the harness for non factory amped models that you haveto run all new speaker wires. Is this true i would really like to know? Or will it only cause me to lose the function of the factory sub also if it makes any difference the factory cd changer does not seem to work please help

Any chance this is the same for a 92 LS400, it would make sense to me if it was but sometimes they do wierd things if it is and you are in BC or ever come here i will gladly supply beers

I cant really call myself a new member, as i dont remember doing it but i joined 3 years ago (yet didnt post) Anyways i Just purchased my first Lexus 1992 LS400 185,000 Km The car was meticulously cared for an detailed with frequent waxing and leather conditioning (he even conditioned the leather on the owners manual case) So far im loving it, im amazed how well it handles for a car of its size, yet its still super comfortable. Ill get some more pictures up a non rainy day happens
