Hello guys, :D I have decided to change the original run-flat tire and rims of my beloved SC 430... I have a budget of 2000$ (more or less) but preferably less :P for some 18's or 19's rim with khumos on them... (not the cheezy spiner) I want something sporty and class that will flow with the car, I have the millenium silver color with the ebony interior!!! What do you recommend for a bit more sportiness than the original ones... and quality craftmanships... ie: I will not go with I-forge due to a low quality reputation... Thanks for the help...and keep in mind that they need to fit without rubbing and other technical issues since this is my everyday ride!

I am sorry to disagree with you but for 2005 there is an all new Is 300 4 wheel drive based on the new toyoyta supra platform. It is already out in Japan and will be coming end of 04' as an 05' model. Furtheremopre, it is rumured to have a v6 and v8 possibilities. The 2jz-je will be abandonned so if you want a rocket car buy the actual one if you want a compkletely redisigned./high tech car wait. :D

Hey, I had a similar problem on my sc 430 and it was due to my tires. I had the run flat ones and the car was severely pulling while coming to a stop. I replaced them by new ones, non run flat and the problem disappeared. Anyway, it is also possible that one of your rims is slightly bent and make an unusual tear on your front tire which ultimately create a dimisnished grip on the road. Also, you can investigate the suspensions. But this is definitelly not normal and lexus should fix it. Call corporate headquarter if the dealer is "unable" (more often unwilling) to resolve. Ok let's cut the crap and be real. The Is 300 is the best alternative out there for sport/luxury car. It has awesome potential due to its 2jz-Ge, toyota supra's engine non turbo. It is very well balanced in terms of breaking, suspension and handling. It has great styling and is definitelly not a Civic. It is a unisex car, neither a male's nor a female's. We are all above that B.S Also, buying a Lexus is the best thing you will ever do :D , they have awesome customer service and their car are extremely reliable. The only two cars that I would consider in terms of potential and fun factors would be an AWD turbo S4 from Audi (same price range) and a Supra either n/a or Turbo with decent mileage. Good Luck

Hey buy the sc430, it is the best convertible for the money actually on the market. An SC 300 is coming out for 04 as 2005. It is nice, less H.P but very nice :) My dad as the Sc 430, he loves it when my mom isn't driving it. The only other anoying thing about it, apart from the tires, is the passenger seat, when no one is in it 's making al ittle noise. I have no idea where it come from and Lexus either. Good luck :D

Hey you have to pull the e-break while at stop or if you want to cut it definitally you got to take the wire under the hood. There is a post on that in the earlier page and the high beams are still working. Good luck :D By the way I have look at your engine and it is good but you can't modify it as much as the 2JZ-GE. Hey congratulation on your new lexus! Ok first of all, forget about the supercharger on that car. This would be an insult to the 2GZ-GE you have underneath the hood. This car has the exact same engine as the Supra does, except that it is non-turbo and that it has VVTi which doesn't make a huge difference when it comes to making your car faster. There is a bunch of info on how to start making your car faster. But keep in mind that all Supra's part work on your car and that they are much cheaper than those of Lexus. Have fun :D

Hey! Effectively, the squeeky noise comes from the seatbelt buckle and Lexus has no clue whatsoever on how to fix it. I used garage door oil (spray bottle) and the noise has not occured ever since. be carreful not to spray the seat :D

Thanks guys, I have seen on Is300.net a new turbo kit for 5G approximately for the 2jz-ge from Peter Farrell. Do you know anything about it? Also does anyone know serious and good shops in Florida to make modifs on the car.
