From now until about October we will be having weekly Wednesday meets again at the same location as always. Mississauga Tim's. Britannia and terry fox in the marshalls plaza. 8- midnight.

Been going for the past 2 weeks and forgot to make it official.

Also the Toronto car meet & event calender for all upcoming events and where to find coverage .

For this Thursday only (tonight ) our monthly meet is going to be moved to ertefa . I'll park in the far north west corner of the parking lot , it is closest corner to the 400 and 7 Just Look for my silver/green Lexus LS400 on airbags sitting on the ground in the corner . It starts about 8 and goes until 12 .

It is real simple get off at hwy 400 , go east turn right towards dave and busters and look to your right for all the cars. If you haven't been to ertefa it is a amazing weekly meet with over 600 modified cars . The best part is douche bag show offs are told to leave who spoil every event revving , burning out , pounding their flea market systems !

I'll be moving our monthly meets to Sunday or Tuesday once i get some more feedback.

As usual for the past 12 years we will still be having meets every second Thursday of the month . Here is a full list as a reminder it starts at 8pm and goes till around 11- midnight .

They happen whether it is raining , snowy cold or otherwise.

Be courteous and not drive like an !Removed! , so no burnouts , loud music or other loser type behavior as it causes undo attention no one needs.

The default location is the Tim Horton's in Mississauga , Mavis /401 heartland area . 401 to Mavis go south , right at Brittania , its on your right , marshal's , Scotia bank are in the same parking lot.

I do not want to keep it a parking lot only meet (except for the weekly summer ones ) so join the facebook page to be able to vote and tell me what you want to do .

Detailing clinic , so you can learn to use your car care products .

Go Karting , so some of you can learn to drive :0 lol .

Our annual dent clinic where you can get that acne off your cars paint for cheap.

Pool so the rest of us can win some money and buy parts for our cars.

Sea foam DIY clinic so you can learn how to do it yourself for quick and easy results. Also mechanical , tinting , clear bra and other similar tutorial type days.

Photo shoots with Female models in the summer in various locations .

yes you can do it but it is more expensive for a conversion verses replacment , i did it and it is close to $400 instead of $100

they have lots of space still , so the invite is open to anyone who wants to show up at the door and grab a drink and some food .

it has to do with the idle up air bypass and the power steering for low idle , it is not a big problem but is not simple to fix , no diy

read the FAQ it is very common but can't use a solid pipe

also make sure the lights are on otherwise it will not turn to night mode

Just an update 8 months or so later.

I love driving my GS 430 over my LS 400 when it comes to control .

In the winter with snow it can be a bit touchy and will allow the wheels to slip when you hit the gas hard.

Somehow it has allowed the traction control to roll back atleast 15-30% . So if i give it gas and make a left hand turn it will let the rear kick out a touch which it never did when used in stage 1 , never tried it on stage 2 but with it off , it will make the triple beep before you need to make a steering wheel correction .

Gas milage is just as before after you stop wanting to feel the power all day . My wife has a hard time remembering so she turns it off. As soon as i get off my driveway i am reaching to put it into 3 from D and hit the power switch . Then remember the button and it feels like the world is perfect again .

I got an open invite to invite members from the local meets and will also include the online community.

It is this Thursday at an upscale club/bar downtown with food and drinks. There is no cost to come out for the unveiling from 6-9.

The CT will be interestingly vinyl'd and have LED upgrades .

Drove one last week and liked the styling accents and interior but the performance and the quick rewrapping of Subaru interior panels is weak.

For me i want to go when i need to and this car made me wonder "what's the point? " .

Way too slow to merge into fat moving traffic as the corolla felt much more responsive .

Nice idea but unless you live in a downtown core or a large city with occasional road trips it just is not a car i would look at .

I know i was biased going into the test drive but thought i would give it a chance . Wish it had done better but it is still a mish mash of Subaru and Saab (GM) and not a true Lexus . I prefer the Subaru as it is a beautiful drive in so many ways.

cleaning the iacv only helps if it is still working , if it has been glued stuck long enough it is dead

you need to rekey the cylinder .

It sounds like the door keys and lock cylinders where changed but the ignition left , probably after loosing them somewhere.

You can replace the pins in the tumbler for the ignition and use the key for the doors to start it .

Find a locksmith who can do the service repinning , get the key programmed if needed at the dealer or locksmith for the transponder to start the car .

It is located at the N/E corner of Brittania and Terry Fox which is west of Mavis .

From the 401 take Mavis south.

3rd light is Brittania make a right (west ) ( Canadian Tire at South west corner)

2nd light is Terry fox , make a right and the plaza is on your left .

size is not the issue cheap tires are the noise problem.

JP tails go for for 1000-1200 new and 700-800 used , Cheap is not even a relative word with JP.

Find a different style and brand for cheap .

the stock amp couldn't push an aftermarket 5inch full range cone.

The amp is made for efficiency not power . Get an after market amp and sub if you want more . Otherwise a new sub will give you less with the oem amp .
