  1. Me too. Before that was misfiring on 2 or 3 cylinders.
  2. So, in summary, your core was not plugged. But you had a small leak ?
  3. I do not know this will get rid of the problem, but I would get a trickle battery charger and hook that up for a day or so.
  4. Any good Japanese/Import repair shop can do it. EBay OR If you want actual dealer OEM parts, buy through the dealers who have a side business selling parts on the web for at least 20% off, if not 30%.
  5. I have/had a similar problem to you. After I move the shift lever around, I am always Ok. It does not engage P very smoothly. Depending on the year, you can buy key blank on EBay. I bought for my 1996 LS400, had to find professional locksmith or dealer to cut it though.
  6. Still sputtering constantly if I try to drive the car; sputtering never change or disappears whether morning or night, or 100F or 55F outside. Since the CheckEngine light was intially blinking and is now steady, makes sense for me to go to AutoZone. etc to get the codes read.
  7. My 1996 LS400 has also started to constantly sputter. Idle is very low and unsteady, and acceleration is accompanied by sputtering. If I take let off the gas pedal while accelerating, sputtering seems to dissipate for those few seconds until I need to push on the gas pedal again.
  8. When you say all 3 mounts, do you mean the 2 motor mounts plus the 1 transmission mount = 3 ? Or is there another one ?
