  1. Just do your due diligence when inspecting the car. Just because it's from a dealer doesn't mean the car is perfect or even close. Heard a lot of stories of CPO's that should never have been a CPO. Make them work for your money. ;) I got mine at an auction and the Lex dealers did get first dibs on the cream of the crop. From what I could tell, those are just lower miles and fewer cosmetic defects. As far as I can tell, all other conditions in the car are comparable.
  2. The stock filter is pretty good already. It's actually made of cotton, unlike alot other stock filters. I tried out a K&N, it seems there is a little more power.
  3. I found the page from the owners manual. Good luck. jackpts.pdf
  4. You can request an owners manual after you register with Lexus on their website.
  5. Hi, Just got mine (GS3 01) 3 months ago. Has been very good only, had rattling problems with the sunshade and right mirror both replace by dealer at no charge under warranty. So far no problems. Factory warranty is 4/50,000 yrs/miles basic and 6/70,000 powertrain. In my experience, they have been very good with warranty service. Loaners have been provided for major service and when they are available. Good luck B)
  6. You will be able to pull the plastic out far enough to get you hand in may be a little tight on you hand unless you want to remove the entire panel. You will need a small rachet and deep socket 10mm. Once you get you hand in feel around, you will get an idea of what it looks like in there.
  7. You would get to it by going thu the wheel wells. If you are on the left turn the wheels to the right. Remove the plastic push pins and pull the plastic panels to the side. Reach in, disconnect the light, and unscrew 2 10mm nuts and swap. Good luck.
