I have a 2002 LX470 (40,000 miles ) that has a noise (rattle ) at idle. It goes away at speed. Their was a voluntary fix, from Lexus, but it still has it and it is worse than my 2000 LX470. I am working with the dealer and corp, but they say it is normal. Has anyone else had any luck fixing this problem? If you have a 2002 do you have the same noise. Thanks for any help in advance.

I tried to find drbypass on ebay but couldn't find it. Any help with internet access direct to drbypass? I want to do this to my 2002 LX470.

I had the same thing happen to my 2000 LX 470 on the passanger side. I took it in and they replaced the motor in the mirror under warranty and that fixed it.

I just bought a 2002 and would like to override the navigation. How do you go about getting it done?

I live in Northern CA and have been to Tahoe numerous times with my last 2000 LX 470 and it does great. I even passed a GMC H2 because they were afraid to drive in the snow. We were up in Tahoe last Christmas when we had 6 feet of snow and never had any problems. The only mistake I made was when I got too overconfident and tried to cross a 3-4 foot mound of snow in the middle of the road and got high centered. I had to be towed off. Live and learn. -
I just purchased a 2002 LX470 ( My son rolled my 2000 LX470, not hurt at all) I had a 12" drop down DVD player installed in the middle behind the sun roof. They mounted the DVD player in the center console. This makes the drop down slim (1") and doesn't block the center seat view. We love it so far. I would show pictures but do not know how to post them
