I have a 98 LS400 -
Key remote will not work at all to - lock/unlock doors, open trunk, panic - I have tried the reprogramming procedures found elsewhere on website with no success.
Unlocking driver door with key results in all windows rolling down and sunroof opening. Doors unlock correctly from passenger door.
This car had minor damage to driver door and previous owner reports that remote did not work correctly after repair. I removed door panel hoping to find a loose connection somewhere. Could not find anything that appeared damaged or unconnected.
Car had also been parked for a little more than a year. All batteries were dead in remotes and car. I replaced all. Still no working remotes and same problems with drivers door manual unlocking.
Any ideas?
