  1. Thank you for the replies. I ended up getting the guide pin out after torching the bracket and vise gripping the bolt beyond recognition. The new guide pin which was $7.00 and the $2.50 boot replacements were a little rough going in at first but I worked the pin around and it seems to be working well. So for now problem solved.
  2. I am trying to get the top guide pin out of my drivers side caliper. Everything I try isn't working. Has anyone had this problem or is there anything that could be done to get the caliper out. I need your help! I've broken a socket on it, tried to heat it up, hammer and screw driver...
  3. The time and money was already wasted, so I'll cut my losses if I don't put the amp back in.
  4. It is wired like yours so that when the factory amp turns on the new amp also turns on. However, the new amp isn't turning on. I actually went to have it installed and ended up doing a lot of the work there because I didn't trust them. Basically paid for a lesson. I actually bought the amp on ebay and all of the emails actually ended up coming from rockford fosgate corporate so I thought that was bizarre. Got the RF 300s for $63. They are going to send me another one but I'm debating just selling that one rather than putting it in my car. Seems like just another thing to worry about.
  5. Blacksc how is the spray holding up. Do you have any pictures?
  6. i used a wire on the back of the factory amp for the remote turn-on. I just think the amp is blown. The people seem pretty good about replacing or returning so we'll see.
  7. Yea that was the fuse that was blown. That picture helped so much. I think I must have pulled out everyone except that one on my first attempt to solve the problem. I tried the bridged remote turn on and the amp still didn't power up. I got it factory refurbed so I figured something would go wrong with it. So for now I just hooked the sub back up to the factory system. Thanks so much for all your help though.
  8. Thank you soooo much. This was exactly what I needed. The radio works now the amp isn't powering up... I plan on sending it back...
  9. Does anyone know which fuses stand for what at the location to the left of the brake. I somehow don't have that cover that would let me know what stands for what. Also would there be any other fuse locations besides under the hood? I blew a fuse on my radio and don't know what is what. Help me!!!
  10. i put the rf sub in yesterday. It fits perfectly and makes my stock sub look ridiculous. the stock sub was very brittle as was that back panel...i guess 11 years will take its told some how. anyways the amp hasn't come yet so i am just running it off the stock wires and i can't really tell a difference at all which comes as no surprise but just incase someone was curious... i'll keep ya posted
  11. where are you getting the stickers from?
  12. bought my rfz3410 today anything i need to know about the install? Remove the sub then the copper support for it right?? Didnt get it yet, just want to prep.. I think I'm going to throw the sub in then have a shop run the amp... what would be an appropriate cost?
