  1. Hi, I just installed a GROM AUX adapter for my ipod and found that it needs the CD Changer to work. I have an 04 ES330 with the Nav. Perhaps I'm doing somethign wrong but when I removed the CD cartridge, my radio would not even switch to the CD changer to play the IPOD. i would love to get this to work w/o the CD changer.. please advise if you had the same/different experience. thanks.
  2. Replace it with a K& N filter from Pep Boys or autozone excellent with 1 million mile warranty and cost around $50 clean and reoil every 50K superb upgrade carlexus330, I bought a K&N but am not able to slip it in.. I can't get the lid to go back into the plastic hinge.... Did you have any issue? What model number did you buy? Mine is a 33-2260. I did not unscrew the phillips head screw as mentioned in the instructions though. Any comments on how you got it to fit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
  3. hi all, just spent hours searching through this forum but have not been able to find anyting concrete on installing an auxilary input for an MP3 player into my 2004 es330 with ML and Nav. What is even more confusing is that msot of the adapter manufacturers make the adapters for toyotas, but am not sure which ones are compatible with an ES. I've narrowed my search down to the PIE TOY03-AUX/S. My ES330 has the satellite button (shared with the AM button) as required. However, some sellers (http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=1047) are stating that this adapter is not compatible with a factory Nav. Has anyone had any luck installing an aux adapter that is low cost.. I don't want to use VAISTEch or other expensive adapters... I'm trying to keep the cost around $60 USD. Thanks.
