  1. You're exactly right. One screw on the front of the knob, and one on the side. Thanks for the help.
  2. I want to remove the leather shift knob on my 1990 LS400 to get the leather re-covered. I removed the cover over the small screw on the front side of the knob, and removed the screw. However, the knob didn't budge from the shift lever. Does anyone know the magic formula for accomplishing this task?
