I disconnected the battery, nothing changed, problem still exists. Where can I find instructions on how to check codes?

Auto & Truck Electronics rebuilt the ECM for $99.00 plus a lifetime warranty but that has not fixed my problem...

My 94 LS400 hesitates, almost shuts down and the engine light comes on when trying to accelarate over 2000 rpm's. The Toyota dealership first said the car was throwing codes for the Throttle Positioning Sensor, they replaced, car worked fine for one day then problem came back but the TPS codes went away. Then the codes for the IAC valve and the Mass Air Flow came up so Toyota relaced them, car worked for one day them problem came back but both codes went away. Finally Toyota said the ECM (car's computer) needed to be replaced because it was throwing wrong codes. I could not afford the Lexus ECM ($1,400) so I had Toyota remove the ECM, sent it to Auto & Truck Electronics (they specialize in rebuilding these ECM's), they rebuilt it, Toyota put it back in and again did fine for one day and started the problem again. I am begging for an answer here! Someone please help...

I have a 94' that does the same thing. Had the transmission completely drained and refilled with new fluid and it did not help. Was recently told to add some Dr Tranny - Torque Converter Shudder fix. Has anyone used this?

This is not related to your subject but you are the third owner of a 94' Lexus Ls400 "Anniversary Edition" I have found. Do you know how many "Anniversary Editions" were mfg???

I have owned a 94 Ls400 "Anniversary Edition" for the past 5 years and are still enjoying this car. Can anyone tell me how the specs are different from a standard 94 Ls400? As far as I can tell these are some of the different specs: 1) front floor mats have embroidered "Anniversary Edition" 2) exterior body moulding is more like the 95-96 model 3) wheels are rare and very hard to find I need to find some more of these wheels for replacements - they have been very hard to find!!!
