  1. I have a 95 GS 300 and have a similar problem. I went over some bumps and a penny bounced from my ashtray over down into my cigarette lighter socket (it was empty), anyway the penny shorted out the system. I went under the dash, pulled the blown fuse, replaced with a proper, tested fuse and my radio, clock, climate controls still don't work. Something else must have happened at the same time. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know. The service person thought it may be a shorted wire at the fuse box. I thought it might be a reset option somewhere or a dedicated computer for that panel that may have blown, but they said there is no dedicated computer for the center panel, it all comes off the one and only ECU. If anyone has any input, please let me know, I'm in Texas and my air conditioning is down.
