  1. My 1999 GS300 currently won’t start. Now i have took each individual coil out and checked for spark. What i find quite strange is that when i crank it its turns over and whilst looking at the spark from cylinder one it only fires once per crank (car doesn’t start, just cranks over). I can smell fuel, i have 160 compression, its all timed up correctly, all i can leave it down to is the spark, im convinced that the spark plugs on cylinder 1 and 6 (joint coils) are meant to be sparking continuously. All the other spark plugs (cyln 2,3,4,5) are fine and spark continuously. Any ideas what it could be, i have tried changing the coil pack with no affect!!!????
  2. any news on what happed with this, sounds very familiar to my symptoms??
  3. Hi People, Hope you can help on this one. My brother blew his bottom end bearing on his 1998 gs300. So i replaced the bottom block with another 2jz-ge from a supra. Changed all the bits over, used existing lexus gs300 cylinder head and everything else. Now coming to turning it over it won’t even attempt to go pop or bang. Checked the spark plugs, they all ignite, although i did notice that on cylinder 1 and 6 the plug only sparks once where as the rest spark continuously??!!!!! It seems fuel is getting through as the plugs were wet, and could smell it???!!! I also noticed when i was checking the plugs that cylinders 1 & 3 were filled with fuel (i think as it smelt of petrol). Also i have tried to put an obd2 computer on it but it doesn’t work, the computer just says it cant link with the vehicle??? the car turns over but just doesn’t show any sign of wanting or attempting to start, any ides what it could be off anyone. PLEASE any help would be much appriciated. Thanks.
