OK, I've done that (disconnected and reconnected the battery). The climate control was off when I turned the car on, but it won't turn off again. I'm lost, i have no idea what the problem is?!

Would I have to enter code for my stereo or it will automatically reset??

My Climate Control is always on and won't shut off when I press OFF button. I can change the mode and the temperature, only OFF button unresponsive. I'm wondering if I disconnect the battery would it fix the problem? Please advise what else can i do. It is 2004 GS300.
