Gee, I think I just not worry about having a sensor on the spare. What happened to the tire/wheel that was swapped for the spare? Discount Tires here in AZ showed me a pressure sensor, I would imagine that most tire shops stock them and could put one in at way less cost than the Lexus dealer. My local Discount Tire store quoted me "estimate" $70 to $100 to replace one on my wife's 2006 IS250.
The problem is that with no sensor in the spare, the low pressure light is always on.
