im not a huge fan of the halo headlights, they just dont fit the style i want for my car.

Hi, just received a replacement pair of used headlights for my 1992 lexus sc400. i had the classical condensation/fog problem with my headlights and was happy to see these are crystal clear. I did however notice that the black rubber piece going around the headlights is peeling off on the bottom and cut a bit on the top of one of them. I think the seal is still fine, but not sure now. Do you all think this will be a problem, or can the black strip just be glued back on?

yeah ive heard numerous stories from the shop i go to that these cars will last up to 400,000 miles if taken care of.

hey i was just about to buy a pair of new OEM headlights for my 1992 lexus sc400 and was wondering if they will fit fine. I am buying a pair that are JDM from a seller on ebay and he said they would be fine. but other sellers on ebay warned that it may need some altering for the installation. do you guys know if they will be fine or not?

i dont know a ton about all the technical stuff but i have noticed this with my sc400. for some reason with mine, though, the radio sounds terrible but cds and my ipod sound great on the car. not sure if youve tried the other medias as well, because for me the problem is the radio

thx, yeah i talked with the guy about it and he said the same thing. so given that fact, dont really understand the need to say its for the sc300 chassis but whatever

I also have a 1992 Lexus SC400 but got mine this year with around 90-100,000 miles on it. ive heard the noise on the breaks as well, especially when im at very slow speeds and then gradually breaking (like in parking lots). i honestly dont know alot about all the technical aspects of my car, but i have noticed this same grinding on my dads brand new infiniti. so i havent worried about it too much.

yeah thats a good find, i found my 92 sc400 at that identical price from a doctor in fort worth. its a great deal on an amazing car. hope you enjoy as much as i have

i noticed this with my car one time. you made sure that you had it in park and the key in the ignition turned to the on position right? (hopefully cus it says that at the top of the manual). that was my problem before
