  1. Hi Purchased a 2010 IS250 AWD and had the dealer switch out the Bridgestone Potenza's for Michelin Primacy MXV4. They are amazing tires with very good reviews. Quiet and supposed to have amazing treadlife. There are a couple of different MXV4 models so make sure they are Primacy Good Luck!
  2. Hi I just picked up a 2010 IS 250 AWD a few weeks ago. Prior to buying I researched this site and discovered the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE092s had pretty bad reviews....poor tread wear and noisy were the chief complaints. I researched it to death and ended up narrowing it down to the Primacy MXV4s or Primacy MXM4s (important they have to be Primacys not Pilots or anything else). Price point was basically the same and so was the reviews. I found out the MXV4s were being discontinued and I could not get my hands on any MXM4 as they were back ordered. I lucked out and found a set of MXV4s at Costco in Canada. I had the dealer switch them out and so far I'm pretty happy. I think they are a quieter tire and I know by the rating they will last alot longer Good Luck with your search Spine
  3. Hi Just purchased a 03 SC430 with 80,000 km and could not be happier with it. The previous owner had all service records and the only thing he had done was the hydralic lifts for the trunk under warranty. He also replaced the run flats with regular tires as he felt the ride was alittle rough. So it looks like the story about the 03 match up. Get the 03 you wont regret it!!
  4. You think the all season conti's make a difference. You would not believe the difference with real snow tires! I'm just across the boarder getting the same crappy weather as you. Although I don't use snows on my GX470 AWD I do on my Acura TL ( I know its likely going to get replace by and IS250 AWD) and would not even consider driving them without snow's. Its the compound in the tires that make them stick to snow and ice. Good Luck
  5. Hi Tharkun I tow a 5000+lb boat with my 04 GX. I have the factory tow package that came wired with a 7 pin female adaptor. My trailer has the 5 pin harness so I had to buy a 7 to 5 pin adapter for everything to work properly. If you are towing over 3500lbs your trailer has to have some type of brakes by law. If I were you I would by a trailer with surge brakes. Its a very simple hydralic mechanism. This way you dont need to put out any more cash. The surge brakes are set to work with as your truck brakes. The centre pin on the 7 pin adaptor is designed to release the brakes when you going in reverse only. If possible get the trailer with a matching 7 pin male and you will be a happy camper. Just plug and go literally. Hope this helps
