  1. Debadged trunk and Wald rear bumper
  2. A have a couple of mods :P Will try and find some pictures, my signature has them listed.
  3. Yes they will fit but tires and offsets will make a big difference. You wont need to lower the car... But thats no excuse :)
  4. Yep they are just straight bolt ons, there are how to's posted by pearlpower on clublexus for both. The TC is more work as you need to drop the gear box but the LSD is very easy.
  5. It maybe worth while asking Rod Millen how the LSD will effect the car http://www.rodmillenstore.com/prodinfo.aspx?partID=RMMGS431
  6. Ive only got the torque convertor at the moment but I recently found a dealer in the UK for a 3.76 lsd so I might get one maybe in the summer. By adding both your going to get alot of grunt for very little, almost a second off the 0-60. That would make a very fast SC. You are changing the gearing of the car so its not going to be as smooth as it is standard.
  7. ok even though the sc430 is pretty much bulletproof Id probs go with the silver as lowest miles. The black does look nice though :D
  8. We dont sleep over here :D Unfortunately I work from my PC so Im here most of the time. Black was not my first choice, I think I was looking for Amethyst Perl but then when I saw the black with the tan interior I fell in love with it Although I dont think the cream interior is girly I do think it would be a PITA with keeping clean. I also was not keen on the lighter maple wood.
  9. Colours rather personal but you cant go wrong with black, white or silver :P Whats the millage.
  10. Theres a used but new supra lsd for sale here http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=344335 I would buy it myself but im in the uk :(
  11. A torque convertor is what sends the power to the transmission in autos and a higher stall speed lets the engine rev higher with less rev drops between shifting. Ive got the Lextreme TC which also does not put the CEL on (check engine light) http://www.lextreme.com/tc.html and theres also the Dragon PI one which is more expensive and supposedly gets more performance but will put the CEL on. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=3 The Supra limited Slip Diff will bolt straight onto an SC430 and will help you off the line and through the gears. Also Toms make an LSD. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=2257
  12. The only chip Im aware of is the Jet one http://www.jetchip.com/products.asp?pid=14...model=1008#1008 But dont expect any real gains typically 10bhp from a non-turbo engine. If you want real performance gains on the cheap then consider. Intake + exhaust S&S headers Torque convertor Supra LSD If you want to spend more then consider FI, supercharged or turbo.
  13. I would just remove the TPS. Its more trouble and expense then its worth. - put shifter on N, screw off shifter - open up center console - pull the whole heated seat module straight up, it will come up. disconnect - you will be able to pull up the "back" part of the shift plate area (close to center console) - once it's up, the only point holding it are two clips right below the radio - pull the shift plate towards the back of the car and a bit angle up. jiggle a bit and it will come off - once it's out, you will see the TPS unit right below the radio - unplug BOTH plugs, one small on the right and one bigger one on the left
  14. Im not surprised because the car is a pig on runflats and the original suspension did not help. Obviously there is no boot with the roof down but if you have an SC430 you would most likely have another car anyway. A spare wheel would have been good. The crux was the price though, which puts the car in the UK in a total different league from the US. Over here when it was launched it was £54,000 = $107,000 The price in the US was something like $65,000 I think. 90%+ of SC430 where sold in the US (cali) If it was $100+ i doubt most those owners would have bought one. But that was Lexus intentions as the car was made for the US market. But I love mine :D
