  1. What part of the system has corroded, if its just the tips you can get those from dealer. Or quite a few upgrade to a SS system. I threw mine out even though it was all good. Try a wanted ad on here.
  2. This video shows you how its done http://www.automotivelightstore.com/oraclehaloinstallation.aspx
  3. Put the whole headlight in the oven for about 20 mins the glue will heat up allowing you to pry the lense off. Pop it back in the oven to reseal.
  4. Yep those are awesome I fitted one to my lawnmower and it did 0-60 in under 2 seconds
  5. Yes its a straight swap. You do need the later top reflector as well and you will get a light out warning on dash unless you use the ECU. Very easy job did mine in less then an hour. Sewells sell the whole lot as a kit with ECU.

  7. Carson used to sell them but discontinued now, too expensive. http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=26
  8. Thanks the brakes are Rotora 6 pot front 4 pot rear
  9. All it really does is hold the gears longer before changing, although I suspect theres more black magic going on. All the aftermarket exhausts dont really add much V8 rumble really due to the fast they keep the rear silencer. All you really need to do is take out the rear box. I had custom stainless exhaust made up locally and the rear box taken out. I should think any exhaust shop can do a similiar job.
  10. I would email them to see if they are still avaliable. I just had mine installed at my local car audio dealer. Comes with instructions etc and takes a couple of hours. You can always ask at your Lexus dealer if they will.
  11. I have the Lux Link as well with the remote top. Works off the OEM key. Very nice feature http://www.luxurymotorworks.com/products.p...ink&p_cat=3
  12. The Tein CS or CST would be your best bet. Has adjustable damping as well.
  13. Yes one of the guys in the UK forum did it http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=64864
  14. The Honda s2000 uses that type. You should be able to pick up one on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/HONDA-BLACK-BEE-STING-...=item2303b77e78
  15. The little 'bee sting' type might be what your looking for
  16. Yes that would work fine, the offset is not aggressive though. It wont rub unless you also plan to lower it and then that depends how much you lower it. Personally I think 20" is the best looking size wheel to go with, although it really needs to be lowered as well to finish the look. A lower offset means the wheel is more towards the wing or fender as you say and higher offset is more set in. Stock is +45, Stock wheels are very set inwards hence the large gap from the fender to the wheel. So you will come out a little more. Im running 20x9 +24 front 20x10.5 +27 rear As you can see my wheels are very close to the fender
  17. Is the little green light on (on the mirror)
  18. I removed all my emblems, the Lexus and the SC430 on either side have no holes, a little fishing line will get those off no problem. The round/oval L emblem has a couple holes to locate it. But then you would have to fill that one as its recessed. But I think you just want to remove the ones on either side, so that fine.
  19. The contacts are very poor in time they just get loose. Just bend them in a little to get a firmer contact to the bulb.
  20. You sure its not on the outside, if so then ... Its covered with a anti reflective film. Theres no point replacing as one its very very expensive, two it will just the do same again and three it does not really work at reducing glare. Just get some household polish and you can remove the whole lot leaving it perfect.
  21. All the C-BEST settings are dealer enabled only.
  22. +1 on the ebay $55 ones. Work perfect.
