  1. I've been looking for some new wheels after the winters over and I really like the look of TSW's. There's like 5 different ones on their website that would look good on the IS. They look pretty sharp! So I'm wondering if anybody has them on their car and if they are solid enough rims to put on the Lex?
  2. Just got the first snow up here in Chicago, about 3-4 inches, with 5-6 inches coming tommorrow. Been hearing good things about the Bridgestone Blizzaks, and I needed snow tires, so I had Discount Tire put four on my IS350($1067.00, with the tire pressure monitors). The difference is like night and day. On the way up to Discount I was slipping and sliding like crazy. It was pretty bad, especially pulling in or out of a gas station for example, with those downslopes. I didn't neccessarily want to go with Bridgestone's again, since I can't stand the road noise on my Potenzas, but I heard these were soft tires. After I had them installed I noticed right away the grip on the road, and how quiet the ride became. I recommend them to anyone doing winter driving, especially with a rear-wheel drive 350. They really do a good job in snow and sleet, and they should last for a good 3 seasons. The other thing I noticed is these tires don't let my car pull to the right or left because of road crowning. My Bridgestone Potenzas will catch a spot on the road and pull my car to one direction. That and the road noise is annoying with Potenzas. But the Blizzaks are really nice for the winter. Does anyone know of a good, softer summer tire that make the ride more comfortable? Michelin's maybe?
  3. Hey, where did you get those mudguards? They look pretty sweet. I've got a black IS also. Do you have them on the rear too?
  4. I love my new IS, awesome car, but I have one gripe. The steering wheel adjustment doesn't allow me to bring the wheel toward me enough when I move my seat back. Yes, I can move my seat all the back and stretch my legs a little(which is nice), but then I can't reach the steering wheel. Its ridiculous. I can't believe the designers didn't notice this when making my car. Does anybody else have this problem with their car?Or some possible solutions for it? Special accessories?
  5. Does anybody know what size sub-woofer the Mark Levinson system has in it?
  6. Thanks everybody. I'm taking it in to get it checked out. Appreciate the feedback. ;)
  7. Just got my IS350 a couple weeks ago and it drives nice. But I noticed the car pulling a little to the right when I'm braking. It doesn't always do it, but its noticeable when it does. I've never owned a car with lower profiles tires, so I'm just wondering if that's normal for a car with 18" wheels, because it's gripping all the grooves in the road. Or do I have a minor alignment problem. Any info would be appreciated. B)
  8. It works on the 2007 IS350 also. Tried it last night. IT DID TAKE A FEW TRIES THOUGH, but then I finally saw the "magic" b-on - b-off screen. Thank God. Was getting tired in a hurry of that seatbelt chime going off for 30 frickin seconds.
  9. Yeah, the A5 only has 265 hp, its a nice looking car, but 265hp, c'mon. I know the S5 is the fast one, but they could've made the base A5 closer to 300hp. Oh well, that's why we have the IS350. Those A5 and S5 coupes look pretty awesome though.
  10. Thanks Everybody for the answers, it helps to know these things..
  11. I am seriously considering buying the IS350 over its competitors, but I have read that the headroom is a little tight for some people. I'm 6'3". Just wanna know, would I be comfortable in this car? Because I like everything else about it. Or is there anyone on here who's around my height whose not bothered by the headroom? Thanks
