  1. So I am clueless about this. Can anyone tell me the size(s) of LED's I should buy for my IS. I plan to change all the bulbs with LED. Can anyone guide me http://superbrightleds.com/
  2. I have a 2001 IS300 with 48K miles. I have to take it for diagnostics since I have lots of lights ON in the dash. 1. Rear 'brake light out' indicator is ON. One of the bulbs was out and I replaced the bulb but the light is still on. I noticed that if in the morning, I start the car and don't depress the brake pedal at all before or during the start, the brake light is OFF but as soon as i depress the brake, it comes on and stays ON. What could it be? 2. Recently, the ABS, Brake and traction lights came ON. I checked the brake and transmission fluid and they are full. Only thing I see is the transmission fluid is a little dirty but that should be normal. My question is, A. If I take the car to the dealer, is it still under warrenty since the mileage is 48K? B. Will they check / diagnose the car for free or for a charge. Is there anyone who has done the diagnostic from the dealer and know how much it will cost? Thanks for reading and please share your thoughts
  3. Thanks for replying. My brake fluid is full. I am suspecting that it might be a connector or wire that has accidently been disconnected or I may need to clean my sensors etc.
  4. 1. The rear brake bulb out warning light was ON when I bought my IS and one of the bulb was out, I changed it but the light is still ON. Is there a way to reset it or what could it be? 2. A couple of days back, my ABS, Brake, Traction (blinks) light came ON all at once and stay ON. It is anoying. Car is running fine though. Is there any one who had the same problem and how did you fix it. I took it to Autozone but they say that they can only check the code for Check Engine light. Can I remove both the rear tires and remove the calipers and pads and clean them and put them back or should I locate the sensor in the hubs and remove them and clean them etc. Please share something.... anything......
  5. Maybe you have to start and run the car for a little while. If that doesn't work you could try resetting the ECU by disconnecting the negative (black) battery wire for about 10 minutes. Actually same thing happened to me when I replaced the stock wheels with 18's and they felt too tight so I removed them but when I put the wheels and drove about 15 miles, the ABS, brake, Traction (Blinks) lights came on. I removed the wheels back to 17's but it is still ON. Any ideas?
  6. I put 18's and they are too tight for the car so I decided to take them off. I don't think that your idea of staggered is a good one.....
