Hello - I am about to invest in a GS 460. I really want some help here. I have heard conflicting views on the the handling of Lexus GS 460/430. Some have said its great - not a BMW but pretty good for a Lexus, will really enjoy it. But an equal number of people have said, no where near a German car..very cushy and soft and no fun at all. Can some GS 430/460 owners give a fair perspective on the handling of the car. Thanks, Farhan

I am planning to buy a GS 460. Does anyone have idea on when does the current shape change. When is Lexus planning a total redesign of their GS series. We saw a minor facelift in 2008. Since they launched the current shape in 2006, should we assume 2010 / 2011 ? Has anyone seen any renderings or read anything on what the future look will be like for the GS ? Thanks, Farhan

Thanks G Man - I am planning to test drive Infiniti as well...this week - the G35. So I hope to get a feel of both Infiniti and the GS... The GS has some really cool features and Interior quality is just top notch... -
I am planning to buy a GS 460. I have read a lot about comfy / cushy ride of Lexus vs. the agile handling of BMWs. I wanted to check with GS 430/460 owners how would they describe handling of a Lexus GS. How does the car behave when put into the sports mode. Do you get the firm handling and cornering feel. 0-60 in 5.4 secs is not bad for the new GS. Can someone describe the acceleration experience from both dead spot and when passing on highways..
