1999 67,000 miles Carol- I am pretty sure that it's the sensors, you can have it done thru a local repair shop, save you some money there. Tracy- it's ca common problem with Nakamichi stereo, ERROR3. It's SUCK. Bose is the best.

Thanks Fish. It's been a while since last time I logged on. My cd's still stuck, have not try to take a part yet. It's an ERROR3 problem, and according to other LX owners, it's a common problem. Hopefully someone know how to fix it and let us know. Thanks to all.

Hi there, how did you end up with the starter? My LX 99 has the same problem, and was wondering if I could just change the solenoid, or the entire starter. Thanks

Does anyone know how to open the wooden trim cd dash? My cd's are stuck in side. I can't play/load or eject. Thanks Binh

Hi guys- What colors are yours? I have a gray smoky topaz and the paint is started to peel off, due to factory defective paint. There are at least 3 other cars and Lexus had agree to repaint for them. -
Hello out there, does anyone have the same problem that I have on my 1999 Smoky Topaz defective paint? The paint is blotching and started to peel off. I brought the car to Lexus dealer and they said it's not cover under warranty. There are at least 3 owners had the same problem and they were covered for repainted. I think it's due to the fact that I bought the car used, and they didn't. Any helps is appreciated. Thanks
