  1. My A/C filter was changed about 6 months ago and should still be completely fine considering there has been no dust or dirt in the air and no AC has been used since it's below 0 Farenheit almost everyday here in the winter. I called Lexus of Edmonton and they told me to reset it on the Navigation screen by going into maintenance. It still prompts me to change it everytime I start the car though. Can it be reset? Much like the "change oil" prompt that comes up every 3000 miles even if you are using a 10K synthetic oil? Please advise. Thanks.
  2. I recently had my A/C filter changed (in the glove box, also known as the cabin air filter) and despite this the warning light still comes on whenever I start the vehicle asking me to replace it soon. Does anyone know how to rest this? I took the filter out and it's quite clean still and should only be replaced every 12-15K miles or so. Can someone help me?
  3. My 07 is extremely quiet. This sounds more like an anomaly to me.
  4. I got my 2007 home to Canada from Clearwater, Fl for $71500 with shipping, duty, inspections, licensing and our national sales tax. Mine had 5600 miles on it though. A new one here was about 101,500 out the door but they have since lowered their prices to try to compete with the US but it would still cost about $95 off the lot now so I am very pleased with the savings.
  5. I know it was posted here earlier that someone has purchased the Navigation Override software for $350. Could that person please provide a link or phone number so I could learn more about it? I'm sorry I couldn't track it down on the previous threads.
  6. The location of the reset button (to the right of the steering column next to the trip button) and the location of the ----- when it reset. Instead of posting this in the "trip A" location it posted this in the dash display location where it previously said to change oil soon. Thanks again.
  7. Thanks so much. It worked perfectly, although it did go a little different as you described (maybe because it's an 07?) but it still worked.
  8. Can anyone tell me how to do this? My oil was changed recently by someone other than the dealership but even the mechanics at the shop seem unsure on how to reset this annoying prompt. Everytime I start up it says "Engine Oil maintenance required".
  9. I have the Nav and the Mark Levinson. How do I get music stored on the Hard drive is my question?
  10. This may seem like a silly question but I am curious. I have had my LS 460 (07) for about 4 months and I love it. However, even after perusing the manual I am unsure about the HDD. Do I have a hard drive in my dash? If so how do I go about loading it?
  11. I went to my local Lubex and the cost was $130 CAD for the oil change. Lexus was going to charge about $150 but the main reason I went to Lubex is that it was done for me in 20 minutes as opposed to a "half day" Can anyone tell me how to reset my "Change Oil soon" display that appears on my dash everytime I start up? Even the Lexus mechanic here couldn't help me as there are very few LS460s on the roads in Edmonton.
  12. I have had some problems too with my bluetooth. It almost always connects automatically when I get in but occasionally (every 40th call) my screen will display "check phone" the radio will kick back in and I have to scramble to grab the phone before the caller hangs up, as my phone switches to speaker phone. The only way I can remedy this is to turn me vehicle off and restart it at a light. I am unwilling to take it into Lexus because, quite frankly I doubt they will do anything and because I do not want to be without my car for at least a day for a minor problem.
