  1. Since I cant fit under the back end of the es300, i drove the back end up on ramps, and access to bushings was a piece of cake, 12mm socket and you are good to go. Not difficult at all. There is no tension on them when it is resting on the wheels. Whole job was about an hour. (wife made me talk to her at one point)
  2. found 14 NGK Iridium IX plugs for $6 apiece on Ebay. Which is a perfect number to find.

  4. ok thats what is was starting to look like, thanks for the tip on the plenum gasket.
  5. I have the iridium plugs, but what is the wire set i need for the 95 es300? vehicle has 130,000 miles And does anybody have an EGR delete diagram for this engine?
  6. can one assume that they would fit the 92 also? Yes those are the right part #`s They will fit your 93 SC. Those are the same ones I got from Carson Toyota. They fit 93,94,95.& 96.
  7. Just ordered bushings off of ebay, and the rear bushing for 92-96 es300 are listed at 15-16mm. They are Moog suspension parts. I know most people trust Moog parts.
  8. should try searching for info on removing the egr system.
  9. I also had been fighting this, up until this early evening. This had been bugging my wife for weeks, so this last weekend I got underneith the back end and started looking around. Being rubber what rubber is, it has a tendency to dry out. With that in mind i took a can of Invisilube, it sprays on like thin oil, penetrates then gels up like a grease, so it has a chance to get into hard to get into areas, like rubber bushings. After I let it set a few minutes to gel. I went for a little drive, and behold noise gone, and a couple other small noises were gone too. I had hosed down everything in the back end that looked like rubber or a bushing. Worked like a champ. Cheap too, the Invisilube came from my work truck. ;)
  10. I have 2 pioneer units that give the same error message. Is there anyone that repairs these? I am willing to give one up for a repaired one back.
  11. why isnt this sticky'd? Some good info here.
  12. but is the plastic drain tube connected to the metal tube coming out of the gas fill port, that needs to be connected to the plastic tube or it will just fill the tool well with water when it rains or when you wash your car.
  13. How did you know it was the sensor going bad?
  14. does anyone, or do you know of a place where these could be had, i beleive there is 4 small ones on the sc400 center arm rest.
  15. has any done or seen an inventory count of the different type of bulbs in the 400? I plan on changing out all of the ones that i can, and change to a colored LED, and hoping to make just one order to a site like superbrightleds.com. This would include the radio, climate control cluster, gauge cluster, window controls, center console indicators. etc.
  16. normally spring down in just about anything (and by anything, I mean Mopar, besides lexus, what else is there?)
  17. I am looking for the stock valance on the front end of a 92 sc400. If you got one please give me a shout.
  18. had no problem finding several on ebay
  19. I have seen and read about fog lights being able to interchange between the 92-96 years, but even the brackets looks a little different between the 2. Any reason or story for this, I am needing to replace the wifes, and want to get the right ones,
  20. for r12 users, there is Freeze12, legal and goes for about $8 a can.
  21. like a lot of typical systems, the after cat o2 sensor basically tells the ecm that the cat is working. i bet if you pulled the codes from your CEL, it will say something along the lines the cat failed or the o2 sensor failed.
  22. R12 is not that hard to get. Maybe for someone isolated on an island. 1. Living in the middle of agricultural usa, it is still found, ie auctions, private sales. 2. it is the #2 item smuggled into the US from Mexico. Mexico got a 15 year extention for R12, after everyone starting phasing it out. Of course drugs are #1. And yes I have a few pounds of R12. Going rate is about $25 a lb.
