The speedometer was off, and so was the gas gauge. Even the temperature gauge was screwed. So, Post the letter!!! All he did was pull a common legal gamble, get a lawyer to write a letter for $100, and see if it scares someone off, legal or not, just to see if it works. and guess what, IF there was something to this, patents run out of time after awhile.

I have 240/40-18's, they fill in the wheel well nicely, and handle nice, be sure you have someone who knows how to do a 4 wheel alignment with this size tire. I had my rear set go in no time do to a bad alignment.

new parking breaks were put on, and now when the parking break is applied, the brakes dont want to release. I can get it to release somewhat by rocking car back and forth.

i think you MAY have been right! because it went from severeeeee squealing to now its basically gone...every now and then i hear a tiny squeal...but now that i tihnk of it, when i was deliverin pizza the other night, i had to park on an inclined driveway where i had to really applly the E-brake up and a few times! hopefully this has done the trick because i bought pads but dont have a clamp so i cant do them yet lolol :D thank you for the replies ! i'll keep you posted I just read this, in searching for a solution to a similiar problem. OK they work!!! After looking at my manual and actually reading the thing, and following the instructions I got them to work, and both buttons programmed for that matter. I am liking this. because............I am 6'3" memory position 1 and my 14 year old son who has his drivers license now, is like a foot shorter, well so is my wife for that matter. they both use position 2. So much nicer than !Removed! around with the seats every time after one of them use it.

yep aggravation factor a good term there. OK OK back to the memory seats. lol

I understood what he meant, what my question is about, still stands. Where is the ECU physically located for the memory seats.

where is the ecu for this function?

does this have anything to do with my drivers seat not going back to the drive position after i move it up after retrieving something from the back, the passenger seat works , but the drivers seat does not.

Well there is something wrong with that chart. Because if you look at what 'denotes' what. Your going to tell me the '98-'00 SC 400 has a different motor than the '98-'00 LS400? Or from the '98-'00 GS400?

OK, I found the location to mount it. The holes on the floor of the trunk were covered with tape. The wiring harness was all there. Plugged it in and it worked like it is suppose to at the head unit. The big difference is the carpet isnt cutaway for the cd changer. And the cd changer doesnt have the rug on it. I suppose i will just have to keep my eyes open for the proper trunk rug to fit. (at a decent price of course). But all in all, i got it, thanks for all the replys.

well if tie rod or control arm, you should be able to grab the wheel and see if you can move it side to side, this was pretty obvious on my SC right before I change the lower control arms. Best this is to grab the wheel, and have some one who knows what they are looking at and see what moves underneith. Always seemed to work for me.

I think after our taxes here, it was like $62 total. And that was the drivers side axle assembly.

the whole axle with cv joints, boots, the works, as one assembly, was $55, why would anyone want to mess with repairing an old joint?

I would like to see what the cd player looks likes mounted in the trunk, it came with the mounting hardware, but i just dont see how it is placed in the trunk. I hooked it up and it does work. i must be missing some piece still, it just doesnt look like it would sit in the left area of the trunk as it is.

our particular situation was turning left, it was the drivers side. Which is also the side that made all noise. (squeaky wheel gets the grease, noisy joint gets replaced)

trying to install a cd player in the wifes es300. supposedly it came out of the same generation es. would like some photos to see what i am looking at.

Just replaced the cv joint drivers side, on the wifes car. The left side shaft and all was like $58 local Napa. I had started makeing some noise at the beginning of winter. 3 weeks ago, it got nasty, so i figure it was just part of the down hill slide of the shaft failing. Your at the beginning of it starting to fail. Take a look at the rubber boots, if they are looking bad, that is a good sign time to get it changed. At least the cv's give you some warning before major failure on the road somewhere. Get it changed while you can dictate the time and place, before it dictates you. (PS Next time someone else can work on the old rusty parts underneith.)

The drivers side and passenger side door and window controls have LED's. You have to completely disassemble the things to get to the factory LED's, cut them out and solder new ones in. I put mine in Red. Try not to muscle the controls, things break easy. The ashtray uses a teenie 74 wedge type. The same little wedge is used for the footwell lighting and the glovebox. I still dont remember seeing the tripmeter reset, time adjust group lit up. I will have to check in on that, got a pic of it lit up?
