Sounds like a dead battery. Enough power for lights, but not enough to start the engine.

It looks good to me. I also have been looking for a smaller version of the RX. I think this will be just what I am looking for. I agree the price will be the deciding factor.

I don't know the time limit. Your dealer should be able to tell you. The three month trial will start when you contact XM to activate it. If you already have XM they will just add the 3 months to your contract.

8.1 is the latest version. A new version will come out sometime around October.

I have an '09 RX with 9K miles and almost a year old. Never had this problem. Go to the Dealer!

I had a 2005 ES with factory XM installed. I liked it enough that we had the factory XM installed (actually Dealer installed XM) in the 2009 RX that we just got Saturday. I wouldn't have it any other way. I like a neat installation. Everything works through the factory radio and sounds great.

RU sure U R pushing the switch for the hatch???? AFAIK the hatch will not go up and down automatically you must use the swith behind the little closed door on the left side of the dash. Go to the Lexus website and click on the owners tab. You can register and read the owners manual for your RX on line.
