My brother has a 91 ls400 and the check engine light has been on for a while, he took it to autozone to get his codes read and they told him that it was 95 or older, so they couldnt read his codes..... is this just crap or what?.... and when i was driving his car, it seems like you have to press awefully hard to get the car to slow(im comparing brake feel to our sc430 and toyota sienna), he said he just got new pads, could he be in need of some steel braided lines?... hes around 160K miles, is there anything he should be looking at changing? I.E. motor mounts, new shocks and struts, etc. he has gotten a new steering pump recently, and a new retractible antenna, but sometimes it doesnt go down all the way, is there any lubricant that would help?... I have tried WD-40 and it seems to wear off after a couple days.... thats all of the problems I can think of right now...
