  1. FINALLY got resolved the rough riding. Initially Lexus gave me 2 new tires, Dunlop. It didn't help. Also, my other problem was 5 front wheel alignments in 1 1/2 yrs. Called Lexus Customer Service and basically said suspending payment until this gets resolved. Took it in, they looked at it, my husband huffed and puffed....4 new Michelin tires. The car drives perfect. My husband also with the Mgr test drove a same year/model to show him the difference. Also, with Michelin the wind noise was reduced.
  2. Rough ride is the exact words I used when talking to Lexus Shop Mgr. I have taken my car in twice for the rough ride. This time they say it is the tires. BUT tires are not warrantied. So, after 25k miles I am to be responsible for paying for new tires!!! I am *BLEEP*ed. The Shop Mgr said he would talk to Customer Service and see what he can do. So don't pick up my car until he talks to them. My car feels like it's driving on snow tires, not as bad, but similar. He said he sees this alot with "sport" Lexus'. I said I could care less, I pay too much to have my 2007 LS460 drive worse than my 3 yr old Camry!!!!! If I do not get new tires at their expense I am definitely going to contact our ABC Consumer guru and see what they can do!!
  3. I also have a vibration issue. It didn't happen right away. I have had my car 1 yr and it's at 25k miles. This is the 2nd time it's in for vibration. The Shop Mfg felt it, kind of a shaking. Anyway, he called and said it definitely is a tire issue. This would also cover the issue I have with jerking to the left. The catch is, tires are not warrantied by Dealer!!!! He recommended I call Customer Service and file a complaint. After a few minutes, he said he would call and see what he can do. I said with what I am paying there shouldn't be a question, just get me new tires and a different brand. I have Dunlop but am requesting Michelin. Anyway, let's see where this goes. On a different note, above the glove box there was alot of shaking (squeaky noise). I thought it was the passenger air bag. Apparently, under the dash, there are many plastic pins keeping the windshield in. One of those pins (pegs) is loose. I hope I was of some help!
